olawale005: I don't know if sharing this would help but I will share it anyway becoz pple on this thread have been fantastic. For those who are intending to reside in finalnd after completing their studies. I will advice you go for degree courses even if you are through with your degree in Nigeria. Why? degree courses give you lengthy stay in Finland and you can automatically apply for masters program after completing your degree. This will give you more yrs to complete your studies and you can apply for citizenship. They actually have ways by which they calculate your stay in Finland and you must have stay and contributed to their economy either directly or indirectly before such privileged could be given. Another important factor again is you must be good in speaking Finnish becoz those are the area they will look into. If you don't like their culture you won't go as far as putting your ear on ground to learn their language. They welcome you even more when you speak their language to them. Other ways includes, paying tax, having a good record, never committed any offence or found wanting. Breaking laws like say yiu dey Nigeria. Like you need to put all your effort to get what you want. "Remember one bad egg smell will make you think twice before breaking or eating the second egg". Oh there was a time one Nigerian guy use a fake wassce certificate and he was caught at Helsinki campus. Since then some school started paying special attention to Nigerian applicants. How much will it take to do wassce or GCE. Some pple will be thinking applying is simple.. yes it was before but now you will need to lie about your address. I have about 12 friends there including my brothers. Back then they use their home address but after some while alot of nigeria were not give admissions without no reasons. But the idea is, you should not use your nigeria address if you want a better chance to be invited for extrance exam. So we take to using, Ghana, Togo, Cameroon, Gambia and Republic of Benin addresses. Remember nothing last forever.... And some Nigerians will ruin other pple ' opportunities to apply. So for those who wanna apply..... Look into aalto school of business. You will have your degree and masters in 3 yrs which is fantastic. They don't ask for tofel but you will need to we do well in your SAT. If your SAT is score is good, leave the rest to them. A close friend has been there since 2006/7 he is still living fine there with his family. .. Thank you for reading and I apologies for my shotgun error above.. God bless nigeria, God bless us all... Bachelor's or Master's degree completed in English (with the language of study clearly indicated in the degree certificate and transcript of records) No language test is required from applicants fulfilling one or more of the above criteria. Such applicants may demonstrate their English language proficiency by submitting officially certified copies of the relevant degree certificate and transcript. It is recommended, however, for applicants who have also taken a language test to indicate their test scores when applying Please friends, I got this information on a website of one the finish university. Does the information means nigerian are exempted from submitting Test of English language proficiency? |

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by aril: 12:10pm On Jun 30, 2015 |
oladunwo: Basically, requirement for degree and masters program thought in English, applicant must demonstrate their language skill through.. TOFEL, IELTS or PEARSON test of English. All Finnish schools accept anyone of those listed English test. For me I think IELTS is simple but expensive. By all means Nigerians are not excluded so I suggest you get so tutorials online or I can send you a copy if you re interested but it is in hard copy. . cheers. .. |

oladunwo: I actually have the hardcopy and I am willing to send to 5 people through Nipost on Friday. I will be sending my study place form tomorrow to Mekkeli campus so I will use that avenue to send the hardcopy to whoever that is interested. Again, the hardcopy requires some section where you will be needing to listening to audios and some short conversation for you to summaries. I will try my best to upload the audios through a link and I will provide the link here for those are interested. Remember that you will be needing the audio in some section of the hardcopy. Pls drop your Address here so that I can send it to you on Friday through Nipost. Each material shouldn't exceed more than #300 or less so I can still afford #1500 to show my appreciation and to get more reward during this holiday month. If you leave within lagos island, Adeniji Adele, Odunfa, Okepope, Obalende and Ikoyo to be precise then you can give me a call 07012981649, I will handover a copy to you and bring a flash along for the audio section. God has been merciful to me all I can do to show my appreciation is to be kind to others. Don't misunderstood my kindness to taking advantage of what is not. I am just being helpful to newbies. Have a good evening... |

Good morning everyone. My interview was yesterday. These finland people no get sense. A monologue doesn't give the applicant any fair chance to explain and clarify most things. First Bleep up, they questioned and withheld my insurance certificate and said they want to investigate it for fraud/fake doc. Secondly, they asked to explain the nature, reason and purpose of/for any large funds to or from the account. The term "Large funds" is crazy without any explanation of the scope. The biggest inflow was 320k, didn't know the point at which an amount is classed as "large". In addition, they expected me to state the name/job/monthly income of ALL the family members who deposited money in my account. I explained to the guy he said I HAD to write at the back everyone's job, etc. Rubbish. In the event that they're not satisfied with the explanation, it's a monologue... no second chance for an applicant to explain whatever the confusion is. Idiots! For those who are yet to go for the interview/apply for the residence permit. Your best chance is to get just 1 person and identify that person as the sponsor. Know and provide as much information about that person. Where he works, how much he earns, and also his bank statement which should be healthy. Or u identify urself as d sponsor and provide similar information. U need to see the stupid questionnaire sef and u would realize they only expect a fixed pattern! U either sponsor urself or have one sponsor. Mad people. Out of about 8 people who made the depositsn, I only talked about 5 and stated that I didn't know anyone's monthly income for certain since that's classified information in this part of the world. I also explained that I wasn't really sure of the exact place of work of some of dem but was sure of their jobs (engineer, manager, etc). I made dem know I didn't know the bench mark for "large funds" so I only talked about the biggest deposit of 300k. Toh shikenan! I'm going back to Lagos today. Finally got this interview madness off my agenda. The stupid prejudiced way of reasoning by this crazy Migri. |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by olabode89(m): 11:43am On Jul 01, 2015 |
sureb0y: Hehehehe.... Sureboy my nigga.... nor worry jare. If they need more information about large deposits they will requested for supplementary information/documents. They only want to understand the source of every deposit in your account no biggie.... Ensure that you remember the details of the information you dropped concerning the 300K as they might request for it to be explained as part of the supplementary information request. |
