I recently came across this promise made by President Buhari on 10th January, 2015 published in the sun newspaper.. And these are my conclusions:



1. PMB knew it would take two months for his strategy to work. So if that is the fact, Nigerians must prayerfully wait the next 27 days as solution is on its way. That would also mean Boko Haram are doing their clearance sales as their doom is irrevocable.



2. PMB had plans and believed he could eradicate B.H in two months, but on assumption of Office, he met more than he bargained. He realized his strategies could not halt B.H in HIS record time. Hmm, if this is the fact, then I think maybe we should excuse his ignorance. But ave always heard it's not an excuse. Leadership has much to do with responsibility. He should ave had a rethought before hyping my hope and 160million Nigerians counting days. I wonder how the west reacted to the news. They must ave been wondering if Buhari really knew B.H was a terrorist group. Maybe they gave him the support to see him perform the magic. A friend told me we should blame his slow performance on the NASS crisis. Maybe PMB should tell us that himself.



3. PMB really had no plan on how B.H can be eradicated in two months. I know he hates the PDP so much, and who knows if he hates PDP more than B.H. Maybe he knew that was an easy way to send Mr Ebele and mama Peace to Otueke. And if that is the case then he owes Nigeria and Nigerians dead and alive more than just apologies.

It is factual that the security of a Nation is a collective responsibility of both the government and the citizens, we also have our roles to play in fighting corruption.


Our dear president Buhari, should endeavor to stick to his promise of making Boko Haram a mere history in the next 27 days.
