parkeration: Dis is not abt inferiority complex, itz abt putting on wot fits d occasion & datz not to say they must wear suit but they ought to cover up. Putting on formal wear/suit doesn't change their belief, culture identity or image---ppl wud still knw dat they r frm swaziland. We africans r too confined in our attitude which results in upholding undue egocentric philosophy dat ignores all other/foreign social causes. Truly, IMAGE is everything but we africans r not so skillful in projecting dis; d only way we knw is to dress up like ediots for d world to knw dat we r africans. 1 Like |

bushdoc9919:Nonsense! People click like to the senseless comment because they are as ignorant as you are - unreasonable human beings who cannot device any means to move humanity forward. Yet you cry foul when you are told of your primitiveness. This is not about culture and if it is they should probably not use microphones and seat on the chairs or use car as a means of transportation. You keep supporting this backward life yet claim to be smart, the type that is meant to be in the museum. You are only deceiving yourself here. I haven't seen what that bullsh!t has contributed to humanity. Only in your biased mind you think it is the right thing to do and be praised for it. I cannot condescend so low to be displaying backwardness in every activity when it is not necessarily required to do so. Jeez! Africa will continue to remain in the dark until all these annoying showing of peasant and less wit is done away with. That continent will continue to remain backward if the people cannot distinguish between a cultural event and a government gathering. Indeed, that is not an activity where your culture is required to prove a point, you primitive human beings! I doubt they have even taken their bath before coming to that function. |

feldido: When did white become god ? So it is the way the whites dress that is right according to you. It is clear that Africa is only free from physical slavery not mental slavery. Africa culture is to be celebrated not condemned. #Iamproudofswazis |

neocortex:Oh, please! I can vouch with my accounts in the banks that 80% of what those idiots put on are made through the white people device means of creating things. Those clothes aren't even part of their culture. They were using grasses and animal skin in the real cultural perspective of their past history. Stop being silly, my friend. You know nothing. And, your display of ignorance is patronizing and disgraceful to say the least! |

Re: Check Out These Swaziland Representatives At A Meeting ( Photo) by Nobody: 4:16pm On Jul 08, 2015 |
I support the right to remove those people from the assembly. It is time to start barring people from participating in a former gathering without dressing appropriately. This is not 13th century where people still reason along the line of primitive culture. This is 21st century, the modern time, where the past history is not necessarily needed to contribute and advance humaniity . |

Swaziland is one of the Seven (7) countries in the world that absolute monarchy is still practiced the others are: Brunei, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Vatican City. This means there culture is fully part of their lives. You will never see The Saudi King in suit no matter the occasion. |

D gods must really b crazy Do you live in Akwa Ibom State? Do you relish the desire to own your own business with little start up capital and promising returns in investment? Then call or add me up on whatsapp 08085188110. You will be glad you did |

neocortex: Ha!!! I can see you aren't making sense as usual! What happens to your brain? Is it not functioning properly? It is sad that you cannot see how they are showing their idiotic nature in that gathering proves you are nothing short of a primitive human being. That you continue to deny the fact of this matter is annoying to me. I am not going to stand and watch while you take a barbaric step and claim to be the right thing to do in the 21st century. I am not going to support in that. What is your problem with the white man? This is not about white man in the first place. This is about the culture, where some people refused to change and move along with the changing world. Those who choose to remain backward and expected to be seen as reasonable human beings, when they cannot distinguish between the nuances of modernity and barbaric cultural dressing of the past, is the actual bone of contention here. It is revealing something of a senseless people. On that ground they are i d i o t s to me. So I have good reasons for calling them i d i o t s! I would say you should stop blaming the white man for your inability to device a means to move humanity forward. Is that too much to ask? Denial is like an incurable disease you are suffering from. I think I can help you to see a doctor to better managed the situation but, first you would have to admit you have a disease. |

Thats the king himself i believe.Whoever believes that they should wear suits to such a function as Africans should tell any of our emirs obas or obis to do the same when they attend state functions. Africans and inferiority complex. |
