A 4 month old child needs the mother's love, care and attention. If she refuses to take care of the child properly then she wants her child to grow up and be something bad. Her primary assignment is her child. God has been providing for your needs since when you got married, till she was pregnant, so God won't forsake you...To hell with the job if it will deprive her child of her attention.... www.olawoyinmustapha..com www.naijalawlibrary..com www.beneficialhowtodoit..com leggo: |

Yes she should work not just for your present state but also for posterity sake,if you want to bring up your child well.Depending on your location..there are many good creches around, get one u can conveniently afford. I dont advise you to get a nanny or a relative, we hardly trust people this days |

ndidibabe:YES What's wrong with that? He is already struggling with the finances that will most certainly grow in line with the baby's growth What if he was on a 50K per month job and the wife received a 500K per month job offer, should he still allow the wife lose out just because he simply wants to be the man? Makes no economic sense 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Tho working by a mother to support husband is understand able, however, 4 months is still quite tender, raise her 10k to start keeping articles in front of your house selling, with that she can start doing something with determination and ur support, give her 6 months it will turn to a big shop and a year later it may become a super market all things being equal. I have seen some children's futures being wasted by peanuts earned careers embarked upon by most parents robminds.com |

I think you have more than the problem of the child's welfare in your hands. For starters, you have no firm grip of your family. Hear yourself, 'my wife suddenly came back day before yesterday and said she wentffor a job interview'. For crying out loud, what right does she have to go job hunting without you two first discussing it as a family? Poverty does not mean inability to run your home. It's amazing that in this age of 'baby friendly', a woman with honest intentions will be comfortable abandoning a four months old baby for a job you were not aware of. Obviously, she couldn't wait to put to birth. Call your wife to order first and other things can follow 1 Like |

I resumed back to work when my baby was just 3 months, just get a good person(nanny) to be carrying the baby within the working hours, your wife can express breast milk inside feedingbottles, that will be given to the baby & once she is free or a less busy @work, she will go & see d baby, just relax, there is nothing to worry about, nw my child is 2years by God's grace & doing greatly fine 2 Likes |

MOORCHMOORE: Its not an easy task. If you want to help emloy a nanny that will take of the baby and do a thorough investigation on the nanny before she resumes the job. My sis has a nanny and leave when she gets back from work. |

Depending on the kind of job... Generally, it will not be fair on her, her employer and the baby to start a new job at that stage (Just 3+ months after delivery) Because at that moment, she cannot work at her full potential, then she gets bad appraisal from her employer, the baby also suffers and at end of the day, they will sack her for low productivity. However, she can go to work if: ---It is Government related work ---she is an existing employee of the company 1 Like 1 Share |
