If I was Prince I won't do a court marriage. Traditional and Church marriages are enough to show your love. Prince definitely has been showing her love that's why she agreed to marry him. If Amaka was rich she wouldn't even wanna hear anything about court marriage. As for Amaka I smell greed and lack of trust, and for Prince uncertainty and lack of trust.

Both are right in their own ways, they only need to sit and agree on they really want and follow each other's opinion.

Left for me, I see nothing wrong in getting married by both means, (traditionally and legally) cos they r both important. I believe for them come to d decision of marriage, they must HV gone a long way, so therefore misunderstandings like this shouldn't b taking place..

court marriage is necessary especially in the eyes of the law.

traditionally marriage is also necessary especially in the eyes of the land and the hungry chief's with pot bellies. so both should never be compromised.

the only one that doesn't make sense to me is white wedding even some churches will not wed you till they see the court certificates.

What is court marriage and what is church marriage? The fact that you celebrated your marriage in court doesn't make your marriage more serious than the one celebrated in church. After all it is the same documents you execute in church that you also sign in court which will be filed in the marriage registry at the local government. Your marriage is either traditional or marriage under the Act. Church and court are just venues for celebration of marriages. They are both one and the same thing as long as you are issued a certificate after everything. I wonder why Nigerian girls think celebrating marriage in court makes them 'more married'. Please refer to the Marriage Act and the Matrimonial Causes Act for avoidance of doubt. Be guided properly.

If that guy conced,he is a fool..people don't learn from all this people you see in the news going to court everyday and begging judge to desolve their marriage,cos their partner's think they have monopoly to misbehave.

On the flip side,she might have eyez on his properties,which may be her reason for insisting on court marriage,when he offered church marriage.

All this bittch ain't to be trusted,some even kill their husband for this purpose.

They should agree on what they can forfeit in case on any future issue.

That's how it should be. A pre-nup contract should be embark upon before nuptials, especially in this age where people are marrying for wealth and financial gratifications. The love flim-flam tricks shouldn't fly anymore. Not to people who are cognizant of the fact that there's no such thing as love. We only have "interest" not love.

Let them go their separate ways since they don't agree on how the marriage should be hold. Haaaaaaaaaaaa but she is not serious oo so the court wedding will tell her if he loves her or not, she never ready. Court or no court a man will always do what he feels like doing.

How much do you think it costs to get wedded in a court? Do you even know the importance of court wedding?

She doesn't have to be afraid of anything, she's just taking the right step, what is the man afraid of by refusing?

It's really saddening to read a woman calling another woman with an opinion manipulative and overbearing, so she's supposed to just go with whatever the fiance wants? It's not even like the court wedding will be in her favour alone.
