Fvck!!! I didnt say they flew straight to the DRC without stopping mate!! You Said our Gripens cant teach Zimbabwe!! And Nigeria isn't 10 000km away

Nigeria is about 9,000 km away leaving no chance of any slow down in flight due to bad weather or hostile interception. No pilot calculates last drop of fuel to fly a trip with no reserve fuel, flying a $68 million expensive jet.

Even if we say 7,000 km to Nigeria which is wrong, the Gripen CANNOT fly that distance, it was doing stop over in Zambia on a simple less than 3.000 km flight to DRC grin grin

If you knew your jets stopped over at Zambia, why were you quoting only Congo DRC to boost your false claims of range and endurance?

In war, Zambia or Congo will NEVER allow you to use their territory to stop over and refuel on a trip to attack Nigeria, else you drag them into war....or Nigeria too can send F-7 jets to refuel in Gabon and Botswana to attack South Africa.

Use your brain like a man that went to school.... grin grin

Dude if i didnt know that they stopped in Zambia WHY did i post pictures of our Gripens in Zambia a few weeks ago? You said our Gripens can't reach Zim, i just used the DRC as an example to prove you wrong!

Secondly as i said before, our Gripens or Hawks for that matter could easily reach Nigeria, Both have air to air refueling probes and we will receive new transports in the next 2-3 years and if the need arises we could just bring our 707 out of retirement!

Operating procedures.

SADC is more united than ECOWAS.

SA donated howitzers to Namibia during their involvement in the DRC.

SA rescued Tanzanian soldiers stuck in the. DRC on the way of marching rebel force.

Zimbabwe, Angola and Namibia sent forces to th DRC when the fall of Kinshasa was measured in days.

Namibia allowed Angola to conduct cross boarder operations against the Kwachas.

Majority of SADC countries supported the ANC during the fight apartheid.

Today under FIB(Malawi, Tanzania and South African) troops have done what ECOWAS troops can never do.

SAAF air refueling aircraft is now in a museum for decoration, stop romancing a corpse. You need American help to rebuild that jet, and Nigeria too can buy air refueling tanker and revive Jaguars.

BTWN, Gripen jet or Hawk jet endurance is not as good as Rafale, yet Rafale jet max endurance is 3 hours non stop flight, so how will SAAF Gripen fly over 6 hours non stop?

I said Gripen won't go beyond Zimbabwe with combat load, you should be smart enough to know I mean without begging another country to let you stop over and refuel....dunce grin grin

NAF's new Alpha jets flew from America to Nigeria this year, but did I come here and start saying NAF Alpha jet can fly to South Africa too ? I am not a fool like you whitey grin grin

1. When a SAAF aircraft is retired, its moved to ARMSCOR for disposal, the aircraft is kept in relatively good condition for the purpose of selling the Aircraft to a potential customer or scrapped for spares, in the case of the our boeing 707s one was moved to the Air force museum in 2007 and is still kept in Good condition, the other was scrapped for spares to maintain the existing one.

2. The Rafale endurance you were quoting HAD NOTHING to do with the endurance of the engine, it was the max endurance with the available fuel!

3. When your Alphas flew from America, did they fly straight from US non stop(exc Refueling stops) or did they have to stop every 3 hours for maintenance because their engines could not last that long?

The guy thinks other African countries will donate their airport and fuel to South Africa for use in attacking Nigeria, he thinks international politicians run diplomacy like on the streets of Soweto who support on street gang against another by throwing stones and burning tyres across the road.

South Africa that cannot even arrest a criminal Sudanese president on Pretoria's homeland soil even with a court order. He thinks South Africa has political influence to do and undo in Africa.

The Alpha jet stopped over in other countries.

Don't claim you flew a distance with Gripen if you stopped over in another country to beg for fuel refill and cool down your engine, that's the lesson I am teaching you.

All aircraft have engine flight endurance limit, air refueling does not mean it will fly for ever! Even buses and trains stop over to cool down engine in very long journeys.

Su-30 Flanker range is about 5,000 km with air refueling, why did the manufacturer not say it will fly 10,000 km as long as it gets more and more air refueling?

Super Tucano range is about 4,800 km meaning at 480 km/hr it will fly 10 hours, but the maximum endurance is 6 hrs 30 mins.

Your dullard country does not have competent Physics teachers, so you don't know the meaning of engine fatigue and engine over heating. Olodo.

I suspected that you will like rugby 'cos its very similar to cricket ....in fact cricket, rugby and football are the same 'cos they are all chasing a ball, the major difference is one uses a stick, another their hands and football - their legs...Football just seems to stand out amongst the 3...

We have a national rugby team, we have never qualified for the world cup and we are rated 73rd in the world.. Nigeria still has a long way to go in sports, here money is the major motivator and I don't think any other sports has more money in it than football, maybe boxing, I will look at it from the Floyd mayweather perspective.

8,000 km range with no bomb load !

Does SAAF have Su-30 Flanker? No, you have Gripen.

My earlier posts I already said Su-30 has one of the longest endurance in the world of jet fighers, you are just confirming my claim to be correct.

I didn't have all the figures for Su-30 in my head, I was focused on range with bomb load at 5,000 km, not range 8,000 km with no bombs carried.

Yes, I know a lot about flight engine endurance, Super Tucano range is 4,820 km so at 480 km/hr it should fly 10 hours, but manufacturer says endurance is only 6 hrs 30 mins.

http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/super_tucano/

Range is NOT = Endurance.

Aircraft fuel guage can still show the pilot he has lots of km range still available in the fuel tank, but once engine non stop flight endurance hours has been reached, the aircraft must land somewhere or else there will be disaster.

That is proved by applied science of aeronautic engineering and manufacturer specifications publishing aircraft endurance hours for users.

Thank me for teaching you about flight sndurance, I just saved your entire air force from dropping dead into Atlantic ocean due to engine fatigue while trying to reach Nigeria cheesycheesy

I actually play football every Friday with a few oaks from my varsity including a Czechoslovakian ,a Finn ,an Argentinian and a Nigerian who's doing a Phd in Micro Biology .

I decided to end my rugby career a few months ago after my last of 2 operations this year due to Rugby injuries, thus i started playing Football instead and to be honest i think i enjoy playing Football more than playing Rugby
(saying that takes a lot coming from an Afrikaner), but Rugby is more entertaining to watch for me personally.

But as you said its all about money!! Rugby and Cricket have a huge following in SA and thus money from sponsors are easy to come by but obviously not on the same scale of Football! Nigeria to be honest has a lot of potential to become a great sporting Nation But im not sure the structures and organisation of some sporting codes are up to scratch!

Dude, you do realize that the engines of the SU-30 are notorious for having an extremely low MTBF right? thus meaning that the average time it takes before the engines fail are lower than most fighters in the world, meaning they have theoretically less endurance than your average fighter!

The Gripens engine on the other hand have a very high MTBF!! Which means its engines will take much much longer to fail than the Su-30s engines and thus have much much longer endurance!

Unfortunately you are wrong undecided undecided

Endurance is NOT = MTBF.

Endurance is non stop flight hours.

MTBF, Mean Time Between Failure is how many hours in total befire any mechanical or electrical failure occurs, I can fly 5 hours and stop today, then tomorrow I fly 2.6 hours to add up my 7.6 hours MTBF.

You say Gripen better MTBF than Su-30 and therefore Gripen longer endurance. No, let me burst your bubble, endurance for Su-30 is 10 hours non stop flight.....Gripen is far below that.

7.6 hours = MTBF for Gripen, not flight endurance.

Nice try bro but unfortunately for you the MTBF formula takes downtime and uptime into account! So yes Endurance = MTBF
And i see youve all of a sudden doubled your endurance time for the Su-30 from 5 to 10 hours!!! Well done Bro!!

grin. Not an excuse. One subtle judgement of education is to know when to write more formally and less casually. And for a student, ( I'm guessing both of you, including the mzilakazi guy are)who still have plenty of strict formal writings to do in exams, projects, assignment and term papers, it is absolutely inexcusable.

There's no way such teenage scribblings and lazy economy of literary efforts will not catch up with you when writing in exams or making a formal report.

Part of education is knowing what writing style to apply in certain platforms. When talking to foreigners in an international forum which can be accessed from any part of the world with the immediacy of internet technology, YOU HAVE TO FVCKING BE AT YOU FRIGGING BEST.
