obtwice:This is the first time i will hear or read about someone applying without checking the fees. You should visit the dept or faculty website. The fees should be displayed somewhere there. Admission into Uni of Manitoba is quite competitive, so it is good to apply to one or two more schools. 1 Like |

I get @berexio 's point though. Maybe she just needed a sample to present to the company so they can furnish her with one. I remember when I needed to collect a document from my university, the dean's secretary asked me to go and draft it (because they usually don't provide that particular document routinely), I gave him a draft I had seen elsewhere and he was able to use it a base for preparing mine. Disclaimer: I am not in support of forging documents. justwise: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sorry for your delay. If you'll permit me to be candid, I kinda see why the VO questioned your purpose of study. 1) Your principal degree was completed online which quite an unusual path for Nigerians (or maybe I'm just naive). Was it completed part-time or full-time? Also, even though I know a PG certificate is a progression, it seems funny that you go abroad (to study in person) for that when you could just as easily complete it online again. I'm not saying it's not possible and you don't have a right to, but it's questionable. You'll need a good LOE to explain why. It would be different if it a program that involves practicum or coop. 2) You went to the UK for your graduation and stayed 3 months. Again, perfectly normal but can be a red flag if it is the first time you travelled. It doesn't mean you can't get a TRV because of this, but you need to be prepared to address it. I kinda think that the travel history that works in your favour is frequent trips or a long stay away for study or business and back, I feel long stays on visitor's visa is frowned upon. Again, it's just my opinion. I no be VO and I no get VO for my family. dharmmie04: 3 Likes |

But that's because you're assuming they read the file on the computer. They probably download and print off each application before assessing it; which amounts to the same thing hayqinsbFX: 1 Like |

This is For anybody trying to apply to study in canada....and you have advanced diploma on your mind after doing BSC. Kindly drop that option and apply for a postgraduate program, atleast use the postgraduate program to get your visa. Advanced diploma is considered an undergraduate level course and NOT postgraduate. With exception to few colleges and uni which call dier postgraduate advanced diploma This is to reduce any form of heartache while waiting for a reply from the embassy and to give you a better chance. I'm already in this and I don't want anybody to go into it blindly....i asked numerous times on the thread before I chose it, I remember vividly I was given a strong go ahead. |
