Lies!

What is PMB's current pay before reduction?

If the order to RMAFC were truly implemented, who 'reset' the laws which dictate what Buhari now earns and plans to reduce?

His salary reduction orders all included all political office holders, how many minister's and SA's salaries were reduced?

Did they protest? No? Why?

Please answer these questions.

Barcänista can only deceive those don't know him or visit only the front page. He said it's a lie that Buhari requests that 50% of what Jonathan got as salary be given to him, but 50% his own salary, my question, when did the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission start giving different amount of salaries to people holding the same office?

Is there anything noble in GEJ?
He announced salary cut nd squandered trillions of naira on national security without anything to show for it..
2billion dollars subsidy due mysteriously debited from d federal account still being awaited..
He cut his pay nd paid billion of naira monthly to rogues nd militants to take over the responsibility of the Nigerian security force to secure oil pipelines..

Noble my foot..
BTW, where's the slash? I see same amount all through the years, no slash in what I view below..

Thats even besides the fact that the RMAFC clearly stated that the President doesn't unilaterally have such dictatorial powers.

I doubt Jonathan understands our laws. I watch him once the President had the power to dismiss the CBN Governor.

After he "slashed" his salary as an austerity measure, he then went ahead to budget 1billion for food and topped up his presidential fleet. He didn't want to hype it in the media but then you have vanguard reporting it. If at all the ogogoro master claimed to have slashed his pay, he never did it in the real sense of it.

Goofluck ebelemi is a thief with an innocent disposition which is the worst form of criminal deception.

So PMB is a million times better than the clueless drunkard.

POLL: If u believe GEJ ate Gucci beans and LV rice, like. If you believe Buhari is eating Uncle bense rice and iron beans share.

That your father is a thief and your lineage has earned the uncommon reputation of sophisticated armed robbers and village poachers doesn't mean you see everybody including Jonathan as thieves too...

If 1billion is budgeted for food...kindly ask your teacher the difference between president and presidency...and who's spending it as of today if not your magician?...

Heykims please kindly attach and label this proof of Jonathan's unreduced salary to your first page post so nobody is further misled into thinking they were wrong about Jonathan's chronic greed and deception.

President Buhari is a pioneer and will be celebrated for this noble and unprecedented act, and we will hold him accountable to ensure the salary he receives is truly halved.

Which government has potential? A government that is yet to fulfil the number one pledge it made to Nigerians by declaring their asset publicly? In 2011 one of the pledges of Jonathan was to run open government. He backed it up by Signing the Freedom of Information bill into law. The same FOI that Obj refused to sign in April 2007 and yar'adua refused to give priority. Till date no state, not even a single APC state has considered it wise to domesticate it. When will Buhari declare his asset?
during campaign,i told everyone that care to listen that buhari don't have appetite for money,or to steal, that he wil reduce his salary by half, which is d first promise fulfil, d issue of public declare asset is not compulsory as promise, which is d last i care about.

I am sure this Barca must be on a full time pay job of the PDP or of Goodluck Jonathan, how else can one explain the amount of energy and time he spends in digging out lies from the archives.

His lies can only excite fellow PDP supporters, TANoids and Biafrans, as they are still reeling from the agony of Buhari's defeat of Jonathan. Maybe they have commenced election campaign for Goodluck Jonathan for the 2019 elections, but if they continue with the failed strategy of attacking the person of Buhari with lies, they would fail again woefully.

From the post, it is obvious Barcanista is only appealing to illiterates, any body with an iota of education will see the obvious lies. A president does not have the powers to fix the salary of any public officer, it can only be done legally by RMAFC. He can personally refuse to collect his own salary though.

There is no evidence that president Jonathan recieved less salary than he is entitled to as shown in his Tax Clearance certificate he submitted to INEC. He cannot come here and claim that Jonathan received 25% less of his salary without evidence.

I do not understand what the fuss about the president salary is, the salary is a very infinitesimal part of a president's total emulnuments, allowancies and privileges, other privileges such as security vote, feeding allowance, travelling allowance, medical allowance, etc runs into billions of naira (if not billions of dollars) per year.

Some people want to get asset declaration knowing fully well that GEJ never declared his and even said he doesn't give a damn(I'm sure he was under the influence of goskolo then). Now PMB is just 42 days old in office which is not up to 2% of his term and they want to make Nigerians feel they've made a wrong choice. Rabble rousers!!!

The funny part of this is that even if the asset declaration is made public, same. People will scream "it is a lie"!!! "he has fronts!!!" And so on. Remember the 150 cow issue.

I like PMB, the things they say don't move him, he does what he feels is right and ignores their rants.

Coming from a pathetic fanatic who can't differentiate between a buhari who promised to make theirs public and Jonathan who never did notwithstanding he has done so as VP and then as constitution requires as president to CCB...

MODIFIED Now I don come.

Please answer me this, did Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan wake up one morning and cut his salary? Was it not the heighten tension that seized the country at that time when he removed subsidy from PMS on Jan 1 2012 that made him cut his salary 25%?.

So if Save Nigeria Group have not held the former President Jonathan by his balls would he have effected that pay cut? Just a reminder, if he was really 'the sacrificial president' as you put it, why on Earth, did he slash PHCN tariff by half, and removed 10 Naira from the price of PMS when he knew he was going to loose the 2015 presidential election?.

Dude, never compare a noble man with a gentleman, they are two different type of individual.

And to those who praise Nairaland's political prostitute, I must say that you all are narrow minded. Your inability to see things the way it truely is blinds you from seeing the truth.

As much as i respect GEJ for what he did and didn't do during his time as president, i feel its time we moved past him to be honest, i believe GMB will do well even though at the same ridiculously slow pace Late Yar'adua moved with and also noting that times are indeed different but let's not pretend that the signs(however slow and frustrating) are not there

Its the same thing with the politicians in that most still believe we are still in the period of electioneering, supporters of both GEJ and GMB need to move on and accept that for us to move forward, we must embrace each other, yes its ok to criticise but let's do that reasonably at least GEJ was given ample time to do his work and i believe same courtesy should be extended to PMB

Now all I'm saying is give the man a chance, a lot of us have not done that because our "man" lost out during the elections, PMB is barely 2months in office and already you all are tagging him a"failure", that is not the way to play politics

Look at all the governments you are referencing to prove your point to this fellow? Obasanjos, yar'aduas and ebeles! All PDP led governments that refused to pass the same FOI bill till ebele did! Who was to blame for the delay? And where was this your verve for questioning "asset declaration" when your lord and saviour ebele told you, I and all other nigerians that he did not give a damn about asset declaration? Or was that a constitutional right at the time? You are always contradicting yourself and exposing your parties flaws through your posts, maybe you should just change your moniker to CONTRANISTA!

I have noted you as someone who's always grappling with straws sheepishly...

Didn't Jonathan declare his assets publicly as VP even though it wasn't a campaign promise for them?...
Didn't Jonathan declare assets to CCB as president?...
Did Jonathan ever promise PUBLIC assets declaration?...
So why are you fanatics fighting whoever asks buhari to keep his word of PUBLIC asset declaration?...

Apart from the fact that Jonathan never received any reduced salary as he 'immediately ordered', can anyone tell us the new salary PMB will be earning considering 50% is to be cut out of the 'already reduced' salary?

Official salary N14.058 million - 30% = N9.84 million

N9.84 million - further 50% reduction = N4.92million.

That's about just N400k per month salary for the President of Nigeria. What a laughable assertion.

In your deceitful life,...why not show us proof that buhari 50% will be implemented given same rule you quoted is still existing as at today?...Why did you in your deceit jump the 25% prior to the 30%salary decrease?...why did you go blind to the comment by Okogwu the budget man but chose to highlight the comment by an anonymous?...
