funmi14: Is this Funmi from Bank PHB? I have since moved to Canada so I get to read post more from this thread than the US Student Visa thread. How have you been? |

gabrola:I really can't say.. Mine is a running account (salary), I didnt need to lodge the money for a number of months. If your sponsor can explain in his letter of sponsorship, that might help... If the money is from a sale of property etc. People that understand finance better can advise further. |

Hello house, I have a single mother i would like to sponsor to Study in Canada. She would however prefer to go with her son (3 yr old). Is there an option for this? if she should apply for a study visa, then what should her son apply for ? Any useful information would be highly appreciated. |

Please I want to know if this is really a tricky situation. adaforeal1: Personally, I think that issue will stir up questions - especially considering that your initial program is very loosely related to the one you are currently going in for (this in itself is a possible red flag). Why not go for a PhD? That would be the logical approach. Let's hear what other members have to say...This place has been awfully quiet since yesterday. |

House please if a study permit applicant is requested to do medical test, how many emails are usually sent to the applicant? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by deedee0: 2:00pm On Jul 13, 2015 |
loladeoye:No I didn't... The answers u give in the main form (Visa application from outside Canada) will determine if you need to submit schedule 1 form, it is optional |

Graviton2: The two programs are very much related. I have a Bsc in Politics and International Relations though from a Nigerian uni and I am currently in the Masters of Peace and Conflict Studies program in University of Waterloo. Peace and Conflict is more or less a specialized area of international relations. @ adaforeal1 why not go for another masters? Or a PHD as Graviton2 suggested? Though i remember sometime ago i read here that someone with a degree from UK was able to come into Canada to study at the PGD level. That might work |

lexyj123: Thank you so much @ lexyj123. At 11:39 am, I got a mail in my email box from accraimmigration@int... At 12:07 pm another one came with DO NOT REPLY. Up until now (3:07 pm), I have not read the two messages because I'm afraid to check them. The reason for my fear is that I applied less than a month ago, precisely on the 19th of June, 2015. Could that be a medical request? |

Hello house, kindly help with my Canada study permit. I got a denial in April n I was suppose to go for PGd in Safety n Risk Engineering in Newfoundland. I am a graduate of Chemical Engineering, 2005set. I have been working as a Safety personnel. Reason for denial is insufficient fund. But by my calculation it ought to be sufficient. I want to reapply next year as I have deferred my admission and do not want a denial. My tuition fee is about $3780. I had 3M in my account as at d time of my application, a support of 3.2M in my hubby's account and about 3.1M in my pension. I got all the required documents submitted- letter from employer, payslips e.t.c I have 2kids, one of which is an American citizen. I indicated that none is them and my hubby is accompanying me. ahyotomiwa, please respond specially has you were the one that posted the reasons for denial. Thank you all. Ruky |
