The pictures below tell the sad story of some group of people living in Patani Forest. Among the people living in this forest are the elderly, pregnant women, nursing mothers, teenagers and children. These people struggle everyday to survive as they can barely eat. The children and pregnant women in this forest go to bed at night hungry, sleep on the bare floor (because they cannot afford the luxury of bed), drink contaminated water and are under the constant attacks of mosquitoes and wild animals, including snakes. We are using this medium to call on good spirited individuals to come to the help of our brothers and sisters who are suffering in this forest. You can help with the following items: clothes, food items, disinfectants, detergents, noodles, soaps and especially Mattresses (foams). What happened with all the allocations the delta state gets from the FG ? Like this is a state that gets more money than Ogun, Oyo, osun and ekiti combined from the FG. smh 14 Likes |

The zoo is a criminal enterprise. There is no justification for a lack of social security for people who live where the oil comes from. the billions of dollars that should be used to fund social security and pay citizens welfare every month is used to build abuja and given to Zamfara Governor to use to go on pilgrimage. There will be social security to protect the weak and defenceless in biafra land All the talk about creating employment being the thing that will save people from poverty is nonesense. There has to be direct cash payments to the vulnerable in the society. A government must protect its people by doing 40% tax and paying the same to its citizens in free health, free education and social security support The zoo is hopeless https://www.caf.fr/ http://ec.europa.eu/employment_social/empl_portal/SSRinEU/Your%20social%20security%20rights%20in%20Netherlands_en.pdf http://www.socialsecurity.fgov.be/en/ http://www.ssa.gov/ 13 Likes 1 Share

pazienza u sef..u couldnt tell me this was on FP so i could be of my best behaviour. This is saddening..We need to demand that our local and state governments attend to us.. We need to ensure that our representatives at our state houses of assembly fight for us at the state level.considering this is an oil producing community, the 13% derivation and the nddc must be made and seen to work for us.. We must hold our leaders accountable, allowing them to derail our destiny is very irresponsible of Us. |

HopeAtHand: Is Emohua part of the urbanized Ikwerreland, or did Ikwerreland start and end in PHLGA and Obio Akpor LGA. Apart from PH which other part of Ikwerreland is Urbanized? 4 Likes |

pazienza: Pazi, calm down bruvh. Port Harcourt is slowly but surely making inroads into ikwerre hinterlands..GPH is meant to cater for hinterlands but that fool Amaechi decided against a bridge from Iwofe into Ogbakiri instead opted to head in the direction leading to Ubima.. Wike will attend to that in due time..but i avent seen anywhere in Ikwerreland that bad..u cant blame the fg for that, it must be the state govt at fault. |

HopeAtHand: If the Ijaw have a republic of their own, controlling 100% of their resources, then the worst part of Ijawland will be like Yenegoa, their current capital city. It wasn't Abuja people who developed Abuja, it wasn't Lagos state government who built the most important infrastructures in Lagos. FG must Carter for Niger delta first before all other parts of the country, state government or no state government, that is my point. 8 Likes 1 Share |

hi nairalanders..... these idiots are silly scammers (with mobile num 09037101896 and 09050947168, also with nairaland username : Choba .... they claim they sell data bundle but all they do is to scam innocent N.Landers ..... they persuade d buyer to send an amount of call card to them for an amount of data bundle..e.g 1k for 1gb... which seems to be a normal way ppl buy data bundle lately..... once u send d call card to them in expectance of d data bundle , they either stop picking ur calls or they switch off their phones... Beware they are scammers... below is what they look like 8 Likes 3 Shares
