Good Intentions and He is Good So Far"(16
per cent):
How did they measure the intention of the
President? I have flipped through the needs of
Nigerians and the promises of APC, I couldn't
find "Good Intention" as part of our needs. I
am equally much confused on "He's Good So
Far". Good in what sense? I think these people
were out to insult us. This is ridiculous.

barcanista:Your idiocy knows no bounds! It was the FG of PMB that approved loan of N6.9bn for gas suppliers on June 14. And it was the first time such intervention was taken by the govt. Read it here http://www.equities.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=newsdetail&id=331962 The outcome of that intervention is the massive improvement being witnessed in power supply. I have long ago known that you thrive through spreading lies and half truths and you're better ignored most of the times. You're free to continue to wail with your co-wailers anyway. 4 Likes |

Didn't you read in that link that the Bankers spotted that they could assist with loan for gas during their Bankers Committee meeting in last year? Was GMB anywhere neae Aso Rock then? Were you in Limbo when generation reached 4500MW in April 3rd only to fall due to the strike? So what actually did GMB do? That CBN gave out loan is a CBN affair just like Sanusi did banks in 2009. Oga this is not a rocket science. GMB has done Absolutely nothing. "Last year, at one of our Bankers Committee retreats, where we focused on gas to power, we explored the issues in the gas-to-power value chain. During these deliberations, it became clear to us, Central Bank of Nigeria and the banking sector, that one of the reasons for the low power generation by the generation companies was inadequate gas supply and given the importance of gas-to-power sector, we could not stand by and do nothing," he stated. barcanista:For you to have even thought for a second that CBN could have given the loan without PMB's approval smacks of deliberate misleading of the gullible ones. Irrespective of when it was agreed, the loan was not granted since last year but only June 14 when PMB was already in charge and showing huge interest in the power sector. SMH for you and your blind followers. 3 Likes |

PassingShot:CBN is an autonomous institution that doesn't need the "approval" of the President to take certain decisions like granting of loans or intervention as long as it doesn't conflict with the fiscal policy of the government. Recall that SLS led CBN donated cash to victims of the insurgency without anybody's approval. Emefiele issued order for stoppage of using the reserve to finance importation of 41 products without approval of the Executive. The intervention was not from the federation account or FG account, The President has no business nor did he play any role. Beside, it is a decision of the Bankers Committee, it is safe to say that the loan will be financed by the banks and not the FG purse. 1 Like |

The kind of comments made by PDP loyalists on nairaland is mind shattering. It beats the imagination of a sane reasonable person who knows that 1 + 1 = 2, but loyalists of PDP would rather we believe 1 + 1 = 11. This is the kind of deranged and demented fellows that make up and support the PDP. How will the APC be put on their toes when there is no credible and sensible opposition? Honestly, every PDP supporter on nairaland need to change this unproductive negative attack on President Muhammadu Buhari and focus on value based opposition, rather than trade insults like market women in Mushin market. If PDP continues to attack Mr. President like a diseased rabid dog, then the APC might continue in power for the next 50 years. 2 Likes |

barcanista:A As a sign of the Federal Government's commitment to change the course of both the domestic gas/power sector, the Central Bank of Nigeria Stop the rettarded, ignorant and elementary school rubbish. The CBN=Federal Agency=FG. It's still the CBN as a FG agency under PMB taking actions that was never taken under GEJ all through his 6 years in office. Convince your ignorant rubbish to your village minions.. CBN taking actions that was that was never taken years under GEJ 1 Like |

PassingShot:That was journalistic write up to give the story coloration. I have stated severally that CBN worlwide is autonomous and not a Yes-Sir organisation. The CBN/Bankers Committee loan to operators has nothing to do with FG just like the Sanusi's CBN intervention in the North provided that the monies used are not from Federation Account or that of the FG. It would have been different if Buhari Government had initiated a policy and brought the idea of intervention to the operators. I don't know why you people are trying to grab any straw to beat your chest. Please I don't want a round the clock argument on this subject. 1 Like |

PassingShot:GEJ a man of peace whose ambition isn't worth the blood of any Nigeria gave in to defeat despite the irregularities, massive rigging up north and scourge of under-aged Buhari voters. He knows that contesting the result will mean loss of lives for innocent Nigerians especially Southerners and Christian up north by Sai Buhari terrorists (as they did in 2007 and 2011). Hence, he gave in to save lives. That is gone! Sai Buhari is now in power and there shall be no more room for propaganda. Let heaven fall 1 Like |
