I think this is where online route has an advantage. .. atleast they will tell you if you have passed medicals or not rather than ticking insufficient funds...May God help us funmi14: |

I'm still in Nigeria got held with some stuffs after the denial , i don't have much thing to say about it ,The only solution to it is to work on the reasons you got denied and u stand a better chance why?? because you've been called for medical once it will make things easy for the VO just my own opinion |

vinci500: Hehehe! They usually take their time. No I didn't need a supervisor since it was M.Eng(not M.Sc) I applied for. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by teesboy: 10:12pm On Jul 16, 2015 |
Mykel12:I agree completely. The online route is still the best way to go though processing times for applications might be longer when summer months are approaching due to increased applications (students, vacation trips, family visits etc) but one undeniable fact is that you get updates on your MyCIC account for every stage of your application and do not have to wait for days just to find out if your application is approved or refused. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by omooba2015(m): 10:22pm On Jul 16, 2015 |
easyxtan:Is that the total fees for the two courses... Did the school ask you to pay that 10k before the offer of Admission. Congratulations once again. Cheers!!! |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by teesboy: 10:24pm On Jul 16, 2015 |
hyfr:Academic institutions would usually require you to be registered for 9 credit hour courses as a minimum to be considered as a full time student for study permit purposes, Note that this does not apply to all schools as some schools would require a minimum of 12 credit hour courses to meet this requirement. You will need to review your prospective schools academic regulations and procedures handbook/brochure to find this information. |

Mirror97:What was the reason? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by easyxtan: 10:30pm On Jul 16, 2015 |
omooba2015: Student must pay the 10,000$ before you can book your place and be offer an admission letter. The total amount is for the two master, the MBA is awarded by Vancouver Island University while the MScIM is awarded by the University of Hertfordshire,England, but all study will be completed at Vancouver Island University. Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Crich(f): 11:37pm On Jul 16, 2015 |
NaD720:Yes, that's my thought because funmi14 got a med mail on July 5th and went for the med on 6th, then she received a denial mail today, 16th. My friend got a med call yesterday 15th and a denial mail today 16th. Why get denied same day 16th? So, I think their system messed up today. Such situations should be given some attention and consideration. It's so demoralizing although I think it will be resolved. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by NaD720: 11:43pm On Jul 16, 2015 |
Mirror97: omooba2015: I think it is paper route because online route wasn't available back in 2013. Not sure about this. #JustSaying! |

funmi14: @funmi14...this case is strange..as in.. this is the first time I will read a case like on this forum. However.. going thru your post I observed somethings i'll like you to shed some light on... You did medicals on July 6th and got the quoted response when you tracked your application on July 9th...giving that you did paper route..was that response a mail from CIC or from just a response from VAC in this case Vfs?(I know it's only paper route application that uses such tracking number as 201506000GHAN... I might be wrong though) Secondly...on the 14th July...you again posted that you got a mail from CIC that your processed passport has been dispatched to the VAC on 13/07/2015...is this same application? If yes...Why is CIC quoting different dates for one application? Why the contradictions? I feel something funny went wrong there...you may want to mail them to get clarification...who knows it might turn out to be a mix-up on CIC's part. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by funmi14: 1:31am On Jul 17, 2015 |
dirotula: Thanks for your kind observation. I did medical Monday 6 July @ IOM, got first processed and dispatched mail on Thursday 9 July via normal VFS tracking ( generally to few other people too), I discarded it as wrong mail. On Monday 13, got another 2 inbox email -via Accraimmigration that ... Processed passport dispatched again to VAC... I gave it time maybe another mail will pop up till Thursday 16, I went for collection. @ VAC Lekki, they asked whether i receive mail for documents collection, i told them NO. He then asked for my tracking no, checked via Computer and said is available and gave me. So, it has been zigzag mail right from time. I don't think they review medical result they asked for before dispatch! #Shocking! |

Evenn if he submitted 5Billion personal fixed deposit... What they will tick is what they will... Don't let's cure malaria by using panadol.. It will only reduccee the headache but you will still be sick.. You should be able to see that apart from the absence of a logical progression, there is a mismatch from chemical engineering to environmental engineering.. darefestus: |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Taike: 5:35am On Jul 17, 2015 |
hayqinsbFX: There isn't really a mismatch. They're actually kinda related. My undergrad was in Industrial Chemistry and I'm going for Environmental Science. 2 Likes |
