it's manipulative and it's purpose is very negative... Laws created for wat purpose.. Its a constructive system created for a particular purpose...

I usually use the kickass torrent app for Android but you can also try epubbud.com that's where I got the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy and the 1st three books of A song of ice and fire.

Thanks

Good morning, Mizzzbeee. Hope you had a good night?

One of the reasons I'm yet to finish a single book from Robert Greene is because, like you rightly said, most of the laws are manipulative and are tailored towards getting some sinister results. Even the few positive laws have negative corollaries. So in essence, his target audience are core, brutal politicians, not people with some 'Christian' values cheesy cheesy

You're the second or so person recommending that book for people here. I'll have to look it up!

But you can give us ONE principle needed for success!

Good morning.

Actually, more than 4 months. See below:

The sum of the first n terms of a geometric progression is 364. The sum of their reciprocal is 364 / 243. If the first term is 1, find n and the common ratio.

Good luck!
r seems to be 3 and n seems to be 6.

That's the result of my working . . .(it's really long though embarassed ) but I don't want to conclude until I proof it. Which I haven't done. grin
Here are some shots from my workings.

You're sure doing great. I'm keenly following the workings. Great efforts there.

YES!
I have indeed proved it.

The common ratio is 3
The number of terms amount to 6

Took me two days to solve. cool

Hallelujah!

I'm deeply impressed. I knew you were going to get it following the steps you're taking.

Please, let me clearly see the workings. Please. I'll have to write it out and then see the way you solved it.

The answers are correct.

I dropped that question in the maths section here more than 4 months ago, I think. No attempt. No answers.

Yes. I agree too. At the same time, I've used the two laws I mentioned to a positive effect. The rest seemed too extremist for me.

Very straightforward. Always endeavour to project the image of your superior more than you do yours. Always defer to your leader. Don't seek to appear more intelligent and wise than him. Never argue with the boss. Give them respect.

I thought am the only one that has this negative notion about this book. The rules doesn't provide the desired result.

I ll always go for Dale Carnegie books anyday anytime.

Hahaha. After reading the first few laws I knew I wasn't amongst his target audience.

Dale Carnegie? I have one of his books HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS. I've read it more than twice.

You are right bro. 'How to make friends and influence people' was his first book I read and I later moved on to his books on public speaking.

Am having collections of Brian Tracy books and he had helped to develop great interest in 'selling'. I will say he's my role model. But he writes all his books same way. He repeat points in all his books. Most of his books are like giving different tittle to a single book.

To some, their certificates have become their reasons not to read any longer. Success can be a hindrance sometimes.

Oftentimes once people land that dream join they've always desired, they stop reading. They stop improving. They stop learning. They stop growing. Reading must become a habit.

Your company actually pays for the information you have. Experience is information acquired over a very long period of time.

Hello! Please have you any idea where I could get a full pdf version of M. Scott Peck's People of the Lie? I've searched and searched everywhere I can think of. Anyone know?

One of my mates basically waxed lyrical about the book and I decided to look it up. Saw a few excerpts, a few lines here and there that blew me away. The fact it's hard to find has only made me more intrigued. You'd do well to look for it. Please keep in touch. Thanks a lot! smiley
