1. No club will release its top striker because they are currently scarce.

2. Lacazette seems to be the good striker we can pluck easily. (I don't watch his games. I am only following what I read here) . But read below what he said :

3. We should bear in mind that the players being assembled point to a direction which suggests we will be playing 4-3-3. This formation is not suited to all strikers. It`s strikers with build up abilities that can flourish in this formation. We are looking at a fluid three. Strikers like Suarez love this formation. Some great strikers may be a liability in this formation. Not that they will not score, but the entire attacking play will be dragging and games could be lost as a result.

4. We have to hunt for a striker who can play what the manager wants and is available. Here comes the problem. Many of the names being suggested are point men specialists.

5. I am of the opinion that Pedro could get the job done if bought. If we have two players who can get 20 goals, and a third person able to add 15 goals, we could win the title. In 2011/12 City won the title with non of their players reaching 25 goals. Van Persie and Rooney who scored highest won nothing.

We are surely also going to get goals from Mata, Herrera, Fellaini , De Pay, etc.
