If the ministry of women affairs or ministry of youth development are working properly we wouldn't see these issues so often. These girls went to this place mostly because they don't have where to stay or be taken care of. Though I am not say what every was done is right, but I want to say the government arm that checks and takes care of issue that has to do with teenage pregnancy should wake up to its responsibility.

How many baby factories exist in abia, they have been rescuing young ladies weekly for the last two years.

Is that a demand for that many kids in the country

Prized breeders. Just like in Mad Max.

To think some humans would sell babies like mere commodity. Sad.
Re: Police Rescue 14 From Abia Baby Factory (photo) by Nobody: 8:53am On Jul 22, 2015
Which "rescued" are these people on about Were they there against their wish shocked
After a careful survey, I realized these are girls who got pregnant, realizing the stigma of it all and not wanting to be married off to an old man, decides to have the child, give the baby up for adoption and continue with their studies.
So, you guys can spare me these "rescued" like they were been made pregnant for this purpose, repeatedly. By the way, una justice is selective, ye "rescuers". I'm not giving out names sha sad
In all, I don't support the immoral behaviours propelling these ugly outcomes angry

The kind of nastiness you refer to does not exist in one tribe....it exists in all tribes, including yours.

We have to collectively deal with teen pregnancy in Nigeria. Baby factories might be a uniquely SE phenomenon.....but that does not mean we do not have a serious teen pregnancy issue....especially with it being made fashionable by the epidemic of baby mamaism.

You can't deal with such, it's like 5&6, it's coded in their genes.
Next month the police will burst another baby factory and another emeka is gearing up for Ndlea's net.

The fact is that bearing children out side marriage is like a toboo in Igbo land, the stigma that goes with it is unbearable for most girls. Those that fear abortion will instead run away to bear the child with out their relations and friends being aware. Same is applicable to some minorities. It is always out of mistake not purposely to make money. Because they can even give such kids away free but the they usually give them money to justify collecting the kids from them and thereafter make huge sums from couples looking for kids. This is really the reality Igbo should look into. It's not prevalent in other regions because they easily welcome unwanted pregnancies .
