Gu2015: I don't think price will drop from 30th of August because we are already going ti the high season....Am speaking from experience and as a trained booking and reservation expert....I will advise you guyz that have already gotten your TRV to book as early as possible and if possible pick a day between Tuesday and Thursday or Friday if possible but try and avoid weekends.... For now, I will advise you to check lufthansa air if you don't mind two stop over and if you are not financially buoyant enough to spend 400 to 500k on a trip... Thanks and wish you all journey mercy and accident free... 1 Like |

I am not sure though, but let me ask why the diff in name? Are you married? What's your gender? Did you change your name because you got married? If it is as a result of marriage, I don't think there should be issues. You may need to submit the newspaper page of your change of name and probably affidavit to back it . But if my guess is incorrect, then of course you will have to get to Abuja, but 250k is way too expensive. I will ask a brother that did the same thing some years ago for the cost and the contact person in Abuja. The major prob is, most of these immigration officers are exploiters. 1 Like |

hayqinsbFX: Same school, one is going for Economics while the other one is going for Political science.... He tracked it but is still the same processing is seeing like others but is fear was that they might have send the medical mail to the email he submitted which he can access due to the spelling error.... how can he get in touch with the Accra embassy to verify and correct the mistake or can he do it at VfS? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by ayooluwatoni(m): 1:00pm On Jul 23, 2015 |
Teds: Only you know the person is your church member, embassy doesn't. What you call the person is what they will assume the person is. So please I will advise you make that person your uncle or aunt, and the person has to claim you're his/her nephew or niece. From experience, family sponsorship is the best, dont worry about the name diff (surname), you uncle/aunt could be paternal or maternal......and there's no part of the form that requires mother's maiden name. So you're good I think! 1 Like |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by ayooluwatoni(m): 1:06pm On Jul 23, 2015 |
senarthor:Not certain, but he should put a mail across to the embassy (not vfs, but embassy) notifying them of the issue. But I will suggest he claim the account was hacked and closed rather than saying it was wrong (not sure if it matters though). Or better still let him quickly open a fresh account in that name (the one he submitted mistakenly), he might be lucky. |

Gu2015: You can still book...I saw lagos to toronto for 10th August at 257k, then max price from Toronto to saskatoon is 50k which is better than wat you got...But if you av all d money you could stick to wat u've got. |

I think inlaw is cool, but I would have claimed uncle or aunt. You know, you have to convince the V.O without doubt why the person is sponsoring you. So the sponsor must have a close tie to you.....and I think the closest ties is family, except scholarships.....which is another topic on it's own. But for inlaw, I'm not sure it's a bad idea. So I'm attaching a sponsorship letter sample.

Hello house, please how much is required to be paid for passport submission after medicals has been passed (for someone who did online route), and how much will be paid for the collection when TRV is ready. I'm submitting my passport at the same VAC office I did my biometric. Thanks |
