All said and good.
For other people in the same shoe what would you have suggested?

Would application for a Diploma degree would have been a better and safe option so we won't make same mistake.
@onyeoma3 and fx... you all making valid and same points but in different ways.

Your swift response would be appreciated
Kindly advise

Onyeoma3:

The context I used the term optimism is quite different from yours. Hence, the argument is not necessary.

I said.... Since he has already applied, let's hope for the best... Which is a normal thing to tell anyone that is expectant of a positive result following an application (after letting him know what his chances are).

No one can advise someone with such grade outrightly from onset to apply for a masters program cos its very obvious that chances are very low for a positive response .
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by kennykolabo: 8:29am On Jul 24, 2015
I really believe too still in application stage .
Trusting God and I believe am closer than I think
That's my comforting word for now .
Closer than I think

hayqinsbFX:
For you, that stage is the most difficult stage o...get that masters admission and stroll into canada...just keep trying...Ure closer than you think

With a passport request from CIC
Please I'll like to know if it were possible to courier my international passport to VFS Office.
I am not in Lagos/Abuja and wish to use 3rd party (dhl or my sibling) to submit my passport for stamping.

So my question is; Can another person submit your Passport on your behalf in VFS?

Onyeoma3 team12 AriseOCompatrot tnuola I know this enquiries lands perfectly within your jurisdiction.
Shoot away pls

I asked this question when I went for my biometrics. The biometrics lady said someone can submit the passport on one's behalf. So, yes.

I don't really understand why people prefer doing medical upfront, despite medical, majority were still delayed.
I will advice people to spend wisely since medical fees are non refundable.
Always obey instruction, do medicals when ever you are asked to do so, SIMPLE.
Congratulations to my last born am so happy for him, passport request, mission fulfilled.
Now 4 family members in Ontario.
Am grateful to God and i will always be grateful.
Alhamdulilah.
CIC am so grateful oooooo
Wish you all the best.

Yello Crich...Please I want to know how far with the upfront medicals thing. Did you send CIC a message? Did they reply? Have they updated your medical status to 'passed'?

Situations and circumstance aare different.
Not everybody has the kind of liberty to leave work whenever they can so they'll prefer to do it once and for all since they believe in their app.

All in all that non refundable fee isn't big deal to some people.
There's also an instruction on the CIC website to do medicals if you can to increase the speed of ur app.
Well it's only ur opinion and it sud b respected.

Yes you can.
I'll recommend you use UPS, they work with VFS (kind of VFS official courier service) and they frequent VFS everyday to collect processed passports.

Just be sure to include, the passport request letter, the Biometrics receipts (the one you got from them when you went for biometrics) and your Passport.

Yes I did, it just got dispatched yesterday, a couple of days after I got my letter of introduction/approval letter

Please did you track to know the date they actually dispatched your passport...please let me know.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 10:44am On Jul 24, 2015
They send the approval mail before or after. I know someone who had to email them for it after collecting her stamped passport.
Relax, it's positive
