Yello Crich...Please I want to know how far with the upfront medicals thing. Did you send CIC a message? Did they reply? Have they updated your medical status to 'passed'?
Hello. Yes, I sent them a mail with details and attachment of upfront medical docs on 22nd night. I got an auto acknowledgement of the mail. My status is not yet changed. Hoping today.

But can i courier my passport directly with fedex without involving my sibling
Ways to get your passport across to them:
Self, sibling or third party(with a written instruction from you) and courier.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 10:58am On Jul 24, 2015
I thnk these people wait to dispatch the passport in bulk.

Normally ur approval mail sud come before dispatch
TheBae:

Now you will agree with my observations. A SOWP with an SOP detailing my earlier points would have gotten him his TRV. All that is required from us is to be systematic and not try to openly fool the VO on our intentions. 99.9% of anyone going to Canada is basically for PR (I stand to be corrected) and the VO knows but they also need us to join their force in retaining their global ranking and status. but 'Ko ti baje'. You have two options now.
1. You wait till you get your PGWP then you invite them over. You have a strong reasons in your 4yr old son and also your Union. They do not support distance relationship either and you let them know that the future of your son being raised by a single parent all along is at risk.
2. Let him refire explaining to the VO his intention which is not only to study but to reunite with you, both himself and your son have greatly missed your motherly role and wifey role respectively. Tho acknowledging the fact that your study will forever be a boost to the family status.
As a woman you will have to write a letter to back this up by going as far as humbly telling the VO that in pursuit of success, a lot have to be sacrificed, your family, your marital role and most importantly SEX. This could sound funny but you need to let the VO feel sober and pity your condition. If possible tell the VO you sometimes need to go as far as sharing between each other via Skype ur nudity which still can not replace couples been together. Hope am not sounding too ....am sorry but canada is worth it provided you have even spent some tuition money there which must have help their economy in its little way.

Yeah correct !!! U said it all

That would be cool for someone landing early, I'm going quite late so I can't wait till the last minute.
I have it all sorted sha. Payments are being made already so I'm finally safe.
@ayoalade is the most amazing person in the world. If it wasn't for him, I'd have lost the best/only accommodation that I was interested in. He's just too amazing.

a day or two before you leave book an accommodation on kijiji inform the landlord the date of ur arrival for inspection that should work
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 11:03am On Jul 24, 2015
Yeah it should but with CIC's recent inconsistencies, not getting the email before dispatch shouldn't cause any panic. See that guy who got his mail just last week and the date on the letter shows it had been ready weeks ago. No cause for alarm jare

Then we don't need advising anyone here on any situation. Because there can always be a first time something happens.

A 2.91 can't get admission into a canadian university for masters!...
I'll like to be proven wrong though...I'm opeen to that.

University of Victoria, British Columbia, Masters in Business Administration.

Funny thing is I applied to Centenniel College for PGD in International Business Management and they turned me down because of my CGPA. I applied to Carleton for PGD in Sustainable Development, they turned me down too. I applied to University of Victoria for MBA, they gave me admission plus even $6,000 scholarship. When I read the letter, a teardrop or two rolled down my cheeks. It is the doing of Jehovah and it is marvelous in my sight!

Yes that's the issue, you contact the International student advisor and International student exco members in your uni or beg anybody you know in that province to go check it out for you. Those landlords hardly compromise

Support optimism, don't be like it can't. Makes you sound like you're the admission officer. I believe there are schools that indicate last 2 years of full time studies has their criteria; which is coincidentally the period you take the major courses relating to your discipline, as well as the courses that prepare your for grad school.
What if his last 2 years of studies were superb, and his performance outstanding in requisite courses for the grad school.

What if his Letter of Intent hooks the admission officer strongly, what if he is the only applicant with an area of specialisation someone at the department has been wanting...The conditions for admission once met, can give positive result.

Wow, congrats! This is a very good story. I'll be sure to recommend the university to my pals in similar situation. One more question please: Did you have relevant work experience or professional certifications relating to your programme? Or what, in your opinion, do you think made your application successful?
