Rotimi Amaechi has been branded uncorrupt by the APC…and seen to be real close to our agent of “change” President Muhammadu looking at him making Buhari’s list to US trip. Buhari has said he is out to fight corruption.

Exclusive reports reaching TrendTopix reveals with facts and figures the in-depth corruption of the Amaechi led government while he was governor of Rivers State cleaning the coffers of the Rivers state.

In 2008 we reliably gathered that Amaechi’s wife Judith Amaechi and Dr Samson Parker, the then Commissioner for health connived with a Canada based company “Clinotech LTD” to embezzle through the ministry of health 50 million dollars from the coffers of Rivers state in guise that they (Judith Ameachi,Dr Samson Parker and Clinotech LTD)wanted to excecute the project thought up by themselves of building 1000 bed hospital at “Greater CITY Port-harcourt” after they destroyed the former state hospital located by State CID that has been in existence for 25 years destroying and selling what was left claiming they wanted to build the 1000 bed hospital project on it and later backing out saying the soil test at the site of the former state Hospital failed which according to them made them move the 100 bed Hospital project to Greater City Port-harcourt which up till today no such hospital has been built and the 50 million dollars not returned back to the coffers of the Rivers state government. Also the Canadian company Clinotech LTD has since moved back to her base.

This happened in Amaechi’s first term and suprising against the cries of the good people of Rivers state Dr Samson Parker continued service in Amaechi’s second term without any probe or Amaechi’s ensuring the project was carried out In another case of gross embezzlement in the Amaechi government, Amaechi sold out all three Electricity Gas Turbine in Rivers state namely Trans Amadi Gas Urban, Omoukwu Gas Urban and Afam Gas Urban for a whopping sum of 386 million dollars which was paid into the coffers of Rivers state with 30 million dollars initial payment with final payment of 356 million dollars.

The 30 million dollars was paid early 2014 into Rivers state coffers but was diverted into an account of a Bureau De Change by Ameachi, then in the heat of the election campaign last year the final payment which is also the balance, 356 million dollars was paid into the Rivers state coffers in December of 2014 but Amaechi again the very next day of payment moved the money to a Bureau De Change with no single penny of the money left in the Rivers State coffers.

The good people of Rivers state are asking the EFCC to immediately investigate this findings and bring Amaechi to book on his corrupt activities and make him return the money gotten from the Electricity Gas Urbans sale and also return the embezzled 50 million dollars stolen by his wife Judith Ameachi, Dr Samson Park and the Canada based company Clinotech LTD right under his watch and also bring them to book.

They also calling on President Buhari who has promised Change and fight against corruption to leave no stone unturned in investigating Ameachi and his many dubious ways….

Buhari has said he will prosecute anyone regardless of party affiliation if fraudulent allegations are established.

Instead of people to call this trash,wouldn't it be better for us to encourage the anti-corruption agencies to investigate this,with a view to determining how authentic these allegations are,and taking proper actions against the culprits? If the topic was about Jonathan,they'd have started calling for his head. But now that it is about Amaechi,a close ally of Buhari,it's being seen as trash;how wonderful can some Nigerians be?

I detest corruption in its totality. However, instead of writing unsubstantiated articles and posting such for sensational news media, the originator of these allegations should do humanity good by 'google-ing' the address of EFCC and putting up a formal and official petition to the anti-graft agency. In this way justice will have its course.

The gas turbines (not urban) as this illiterate poster has quoted if actually sold and proceeds diverted by Amaechi is indeed a crime against the people of Rivers state. Amaechi must be made to repay every kobo he has looted from Rivers state. This is terrible. I remember how the billboards and posters of Clinotech dotted the streets of PH then, before we learnt that the entire money has been looted.
