Ok. Write them an instruction to move the funds or if you have your debit card, go to your accounts office and pay with it. The exchange rate as at yesterday was N155.04/$1 which is very good.

..........i have my Nigerian bank atm card here what do you mean by go to your account office and pay with it?

It depends on the airline, although for most airline the difference is not much. For emirates, the one way ticket is significantly lower than return

ayooluwatoni:

That's another point anyway, most times the diff is always btw 50k and 100k

Firstly why did u chose to do a PGD,cos pharmacy is seen as a professional degree, secondly when did u graduate?
I finished 2012 and the truth is I applied for public health in another school but unfortunately I wasn't offered admission,so I decided to go for the proposed course with the intention of still applying for public health later.

Request for ur gcms first..let's see with the VO's eye..Try to calm down. U can start making plans to differ ur admissions..U can relate pharmacy to that course..I don't understand what u mean by its not related.
Okay I will do that soon...thanks

I kinda had the same issue you have. I did upfront medicals in June but got the mail requesting for medicals d same date you also got your own mail.

I called Consultant Practice and they told me to send a mail to the embassy, which I did. When i saw the status hadn't changed i called Consultant Practice to verify the exact date they sent my medical result to the embassy. They told me. So I resent another mail to the embassy stating the day I did the medicals and the exact date the hospital sent the result to the embassy. I also attached the necessary documents (Receipts and all).
The status changed to 'Passed' last Saturday.

So I advise you resend stating exact dates. It's possible they by passed the mail or something. Hope this helps
Thanks. Yes, I gave all required information plus date hospital sent the report to CIC.
Pls, what's the exact CIC email address you sent to?

Hi lolly I have same profile as yours, I applied for PGD in public health practice and was delayed. I think the VO except us to go for masters straight.

Like me, I think our best bet is looking for MPH straight. There was this girl few pages that got her Trv for MPH going to saskwantoon. So I will advice you apply to more school for fall 2016.

steinmajor, did you mean you have gotten acceptance letter for winter 2016 intake? what programme?

Tbh, that's just a "follow-come" reason. That's the least of your worries unless your travel history shows mostly to terrorist countries or overstaying in other countries. But if it's about Virgin passport, it's nothing

Accra immigration just replied my mail now saying; Hello, thanks for the update. Our record has been amended.
I checked my CIC account and saw that 'your action is required' has changed to 'updated' but status hasn't changed to 'medical passed'.
Pls, has anyone seen this kind of mail?

updated means they acknowledge they've now gotten your medicals and after they've reviewed it your status will be updated accordingly to reflect what the contents of your medical report says.

What did you do tackle that in your last application? Please give details, age, siblings, parents, etc, so we can know if you gave that enough attention.

Thanks Teesboy. Within few minutes, it has gone back from 'updated' to 'your action is required'. I'm more confused. I don't know what's going on.

Let your mind be at rest, check back again tomorrow and if it's still showing that, you may have to email them all the details and receipts you have. CIC has been very inconsistent lately. You shall testify soon.

Some schools accept scanned copies and give you conditional admission so you can just email the school to ask if they can accept a scanned copy of your transcript. If they say no, then you have to send it via courier

thanks @bae . You mean i could send the one with me via courier and it will be accepted? Knowing its nt frm d school directly....
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 7:42pm On Jul 27, 2015
That's not what I mean oh. But some people do it. They send the trascript using the school address as the sender's if it's sealed. I don't know if that has ever backfired. Maybe we can hear from people who have done this before

@Godymn please do not lie on your family information form. State the facts, look for a co-sponsor and pray..you will be fine.

Godymn:

Was just thinking....Whats the implication if you only state that your the only child or mayb you state you and one of your sibling?
