Naira is getting set for an upward trend, if you are a speculator, start selling off some of those dollars you have in stock.
Free market economy is a ruse, no responsible government will allow its national currency become a tissue paper if they have the knowledge and the reserve to fix it.
Much as i can't see naira going for one naira to a dollar in the next four years, i can confidently predict that naira will be going for like 150 to the dollar by this time next year.
A period of consolidation between July 2016 and july 2017, naira should be fluctuating or should i say ranging between 175- 150-125 to the dollar.
From August 2017 i see naira building another upward trend, gradually moving up again, depending on government plans and policies naira might have appreciate in value to 100-80 naira for a dollar by july 2019.

@Topic: A good news but not impressive. The CBN is trying in its monitary policies but the FG fiscal policy isn't forthcoming.

It was still N225 as at last night (July 30) GTB rate.

One would expect it to have reduced.
