Who is in BC, going to BC or have first hand information about the province? Got admission for UG prog. at Univeristy of Regina, SK and Diploma at College of the Rockies, BC I wanna apply for TRV with COTR's Letter of Acceptance. I heard it's always rainy day in BC |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by teesboy: 11:07am On Aug 08, 2015 |
phonesNgadgets:I would advise you apply using the university of regina admission to increase the chances of approval. You can always switch to COTR if that is your preferred option when you get to Canada. |

God day peeps . i have a master in mechanical engineering in 9ja, i was advised that I could migrate to Canada thru education, even by getting admission to a diploma course. I wanna do that. I decided to apply for a graduate diploma in risk and safety engineering. I found out MUN is among the cheapest in Canada. i want someone to share his experience with me. are there other cheap institutions that offer graduate diploma courses related to mechanical engineering? really, the object of it all is porting to the Maple land 1 Like |

teesboy:Thanks for the suggestion, but you won't understand my case unless I explain. UoR's tuition fee for my prog alone is CAD16,000 against COTR's CAD9,200. As a self-sponsor who has applied for TRV before with non designated college for a professional course of a year prog (ACCA) and got to the stage of interview and medical call; then I feel I still stand a chance if I apply again with a designated college(COTR)which I can easily show proof of my financial capability to pursue the course, compare to UoR which will take me 4years to complete with little chance to show that I can fulfill the financial obligation of CAD26,000 p/a. (Even if I am practically capable to support myself, it's a huge task to prove it with paperworks) So, my plan: Apply with COTR's LOA and if you get TRV to go to COTR, go to COTR if you like and if you don't like, go to UoR. 1 Like |

phonesNgadgets:the diploma at COTR is it at postgraduate level? if you can pls get a co-sponsor to lend more credence to your application. @marcuskens was a self sponsor as well see if there are similarities and all the best in your application. |

teesboy:Thanks once again. It's UG Diploma. Though Pop is the only one who can be a co-sponsor, he can only support with letter of consent/support (consent in the sense that I be the first son of the family who is also a director in Pop's company and who has the responsibility of carrying on the family business when Pop retires; as African settings be, u sef no say Pop fit para say nothing like going abroad ) and probably property dox. He doesn't believe in stocking much in his bank account. He prefers fixed asset and also saving his money with cooperative society. Has Marcuskens gotten TRV? I'll tryna check on him. Grazie. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by eetti: 3:23pm On Aug 08, 2015 |
Omonjoe: Have you checked the file size? It has to be less that the minimum accepted size |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by eetti: 3:28pm On Aug 08, 2015 |
hurrpe: Make it visible, the best option is grey scale. Depending on the quantity of documents you have to upload. If you make all pages coloured, the total file size of your document will be very high. Use grey scale if you will be attaching plenty documents, coloured if you will be attaching few documents. For more information, click on the "?" button against the file upload button, it contains all the information i just stated plus how to compress your documents with adobe distiller. |

IyawoToBe:I wish I can answer ur question directly bt I can't..The thing is more pple flock to Ontario and the likes, and it reflects a higher percentage of application and also approval..So the chances of one applying to any other province might be higher considering the less influx |

Good evening everyone on this thread. Please I will need anyone who can give me a strong sample of statement of purpose and a letter of explanation if I will need it also... I want to apply for new TRV.. I will be heading to MUN as a master student to study Educational leadership. I graduated as a student of Guidance and Counselling and I teach in two schools during my undergraduate as part of my degree certificate requirement( Teaching practice) and I was posted to school for my NYSC service year and I serve as a school counsellor to the school for that one year. I also work as INEC staff during the last general election as a Presiding Officer. Anybody that can develop or give me a strong sample of SOP can send it to my box. ayoolowofela@ymail.com Thanks |
