The high degree of decipline in the army

http://www.naijabiggists.com/2015/08/nigerian-military-design-back-of-army.html

You are a cretinous fuuktard!

This is "decipline" (sic) to you?

Or the training of animals so they can come and beat fuuktards like you like animals on the street?

Article 85 - Desertion. This is the most serious of the absentee offenses. Remember the primary difference between AWOL and desertion is intent to remain away from the military permanently.

(1) If a member deserted, but voluntarily returned to military control: Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to the lowest enlisted grade, and confinement for 2 years.
(2) If the member deserted and the desertion was terminated by apprehension: Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to the lowest enlisted grade, and confinement for 3 years.
(3) If the member deserted with the intent to avoid hazardous duty or to shirk important service (and example of this would be a member ordered to deploy to Iraq and then deserts to avoid the deployment): Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to the lowest enlisted grade, and confinement for 5 years.
(4) If the member deserts during time of war: Death or such other punishment (such as life in prison) as a court-martial may direct.

my brother, u have nothing to prove. AWOL PROCEDURE DOESN'T INVOLVE BEATING OF SOLDIERS. That's very simple.

He wasn't beaten (if he is really military) but punished or made to roll on thorns... Such is accustomed to AWOL... read the link I Posted... I really wish I Am having this conversation with a military oriented mind..

Hey Mr military man, we "bloody civilians" know what discipline means. We also know torture and inhuman treatment when we see one.

Food for your thoughts: ever wondered why the US military despite its high standards of discipline never indulge in physical abuse of its men?

Discipline is not inflicting corporal punishment. QED.
shut up it is not abuse

There is no where in the Nigerian Military where this will be don e to a soldier by his Superiors. Nowhere. Only physical punishment and not this. OP, get your facts right.

All the posters above me are just yarning rubbish!

You think being a soldier na beans!??

This one small sef!

Go and read up on the rigorous depths of punishment the men of most military outfits of the world pass through before becoming full-fledged soldiers, its thern you'll understand that what that Naija soldier inthe above pix has just undergone is only moin-moin!

The best Military around the world undergo rigorous training that push their body to the limit, it is more or less a workout on the extreme side, this picture right here is pure nonsense, purposefully inflicting arm and bringing dis-figuration to the body is madness, what is this preparing them for?
I guess to be captured by Enemies and tortured?

have a sit, it is abuse. Training should be about physical endurance, and upping other combat skills, not beatings that train you up for being captured by the enemies for torture, even Enemies don't torture anymore, it's either you die or you are imprisoned.

I understand u nw. Just that he was beaten and that makes him an impostor. Probably, he was caught robbing with military uniform. Foward rolling alone cannot give him those wounds

Ok, so the army whips its boys as a part of what?
Punishment or training?

Little wonder they behave like wild animals when they have poor civilians at their mercy.

As far as am concerned this punishment is too ............childish.

This is not how the military should discipline their men.A military mind is a disciplined mind.physical and mental torture is the best:;this will enable them to withstand any form of torture from their enemies should they fall into their hands.

By you comment, you clearly dont know about military. If this guy tries what ever rubbish in countries like china or Russia,he will understand his mistake.

When you whip a man like this in the name of discipline and you expect same man to discipline civilian in a corporal way? What happens to punishment!
