When will all these rumours flying around our neighborhoods stop?

CBN just refuted the rumours on return of any fund to the Federation account (stolen or missing) by anybody.

The media and unauthorized reporters who are not willing to be identified are killing Journalism in Nigeria in conjunction with APC Government that believe in propagating Lies to solidify a hold on the gullible.

This is where I have a problem with you guys, the article clearly states that Femi adesina did not give details on the purpose of the visit, yet still blame Apc, why not hold new telegraph responsible

A great many innocent politicians suffered under the Buhari crackdown of 1983, he used an effective system of guilty until proven innocent because in a cloudy system where a weak leader allows subordinates to do as they will, a lot of nasty things happen as is the situation with both Shagari and Goodluck Jonathan, they are both party men propagated unto leadership as a face rather than men who cut their teeth in hardcore politics. Jonathan's first true political battle was during the Yar'adua sraga , and although he has the legal right to presidency under the constitution he was almost upended.

I'm glad people are voluntarily starting to return stolen loot and settling out of court out of fear of what might become if they didn't

What stop them from posting the name of the thief?
if they post the names, other thieves will be scared of the negative publicity and will not return their loot. this is called strategy. once you have recovered all the loots is when you go ahead and publish all their names. its called being smart. something you and many commenters here lack.

I am tired of all these "source, source" articles that do not mention names.
For transparency let them mention the names of who has "returned"
what so that we the citizens can open our own register and keep the tab.

Gibberish. Tell us the name of the thief or keep quiet. Stop telling us about a source(s) that refuse to be identified and quoted. What it makes the news become,is a piece of rumour. Unfortunately, our media houses now serve us rumours as news report. So so pathetic.

Garbage journalism,

Everything was speculation from beginning to end,
unfortunately the zombies will celebrate this in-existing "loot"
recovery as achievement.

Who returned the money and who received it ?
The unnamed source I guess.

SMH.

What I see sitting, you may never see even when you climb Iroko tree.

Please, don't carry APC matter for head, I am never sympathetic to PDP rather was to Goodluck Jonathan when I saw the vultures trying to feast on him on Nairaland and there were not many intellectuals to better portray his good side amongst his shortcomings.

So, my little sister, remember, I still belong to nobody and to everybody as my mission is to fight against anti-people and elitist policies no matter who introduces them.

it will make sense if the govt denies it because the Government does not intend to make this news public YET. As quoted in this information, these are news from confirmed insiders who want to remain anonymous .

Use your head, man!

So the story has to be factual because you saw/heard it on Today on STV, abi?

Do we suppose that your so-called newspaper report on Today on STV is not amenable to APC propaganda?

I weep for those you who allow yourselves to be so brainwashed and manipulated by Tinubu's propaganda contraptions like The Nation newspaper that you have become incapable of critical thinking and the application of the minutest of commonsense.

Your argument doesn't hold.

Are the thieves more scared of publicity than jail times ?

Do you think anyone will return money just for returning sake
when he can pocket if the only penalty for doing so is bad publicity.

I just hope all these news am reading are true cos am already happy at the perceived anti - corruption war. I dont want to see later in another news or thread that such things never happened just like we heard the news regarding the disposal of part of the presidential aircrafts which was later refuted.
Same with the news that U.S gave the president the list of oil thieves only to hear again that there was never something like that.

if indeed it's true, then up buhari
but if na lie, then kwontinu

Which is more recent, 7th or 10th? Typical of PDPians if '16>19' according to you guys; why wont you claim 7th Aug is more recent than 10th..

What is the name of the aide ?
Did CBN received the money yesterday evening ?

This is how you zombies believed in an inexisting "list"
of corrupt people.
