Good morning all,

Been reading through as am quite new here. I
just got admitted into the MEng program uottawa for the winter session.
From the offer of admission mail sent all they said as regards finances was to budget 37CAD per year and its a 2year program.
My dad is my sponsor and can show a soa of about 7M. would this be enough seeing it doesnt cover my entire program for 2years but money comes in and out or do i get a co-sponsor?

thank you bro...was thinking of getting a partnership papers signed with a company I work with here. Will that work or do I have to register my company by all means? Advice really needed. Thank you

my two cents, try register your own business. it is not so hard to do and you can do it yourself.
From experience, "if you sign papers' with a company, are they Corporate Affairs Commission papers?
meanwhile, if you do that, you may e on a long thing, as post incoporation is done in Abuja.

PS: I'm not advertising o. just borrowing u ideas. cos this is part of the things I do as a legal practitioner

Be patient, bro. A lot of apps have been processed for far longer periods. Nothing can be done besides being patient a little while longer. Goodluck Jonathan

Good day guys. please how is it possible to get a copy of the files CIC has on me? i read something about that on this site a long time ago. can't really remember. the problem i am having is that my application october last year was filled by an agent, and i cannot remember exactly what he put in my family details. i have put the correct family details this time around and i intend addressing it in my sop, but would like to know exactly what discrepancies there are. someone help please
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by senarthor(m): 1:13pm On Aug 11, 2015
Afternoon everybody, please somebody ask me this two simple but confusing question about addressing and letter.
He said should his sponsor address the letter to visa session in Ghana or lagos. Second question is that should his sponsor use High commision of Canada or deputy high commision of canada?
Please I need a quick response and clarification. Thanks

hey guys i need shear this with u

today I was at my internet service providers office owned by Indians at illupeju i asked of their oga at the top to say hello and inform him I will be off the country to Canada cos we kinda close he told me he just came from Indian to resolve his son's issue with CIC in India.

the issue of denial after medicals was a problem too in India due to so many Complains India government petitioned CIC and the excuse given was too much applications so in other to save time cos most resumption dates are near they send medical request to applicants while their apps are still being processed if ur app is OK they send u approval mail if not then it a denial.

the cost of medical test in India is expensive. so this sparked the complains

Wow Akin, you are quite the oracle! Can't believe your hypothesis was right. To be honest, I was wondering how you could have hypothesized so wildly and confidently without any inside information. But you turned out to be right! You are a very analytical person and have the traits to be very successful in life, no matter what country you live in.

Edited: Do you have a science/engineering background?

I just looked through your old posts and see that you are into civil engineering. Given your analytical mind, it makes sense that you are an engineer. You have the kind of mind that would make a good one. I'm an engineer too.

Not yet. I'm applying for winter and the deadline for international students is 1st of september, though i finished my application like 2 months back. When i contacted the department they said decisions won't be ready until October which i feel is kind of late. Hopefully, i should get an offer from Manitoba this week which i can use to begin processing my TRV. If eventually McGill works out then i can switch. When did you apply?

I applied June , the school says admission decision would be made in sept so hopefully September .

You can request for your case file, physical file or both.
You need someone in canada to request for you for 5cad or you will have to used online company that offer the servies for about 25 or 30 cad.

Ah I'm not sure you want to do that o! I just did a quick Google search and such a bus ride will take a minimum of 16 hours in a private car, and about ~24 hours on a bus! Also, it costs about the same as flying ($200-$300). And BTW, most of the drive will likely get boring after the first few hours.

Do a Google search of "bus from toronto to prince edward island" and you'll see what I'm saying.

Very true but sometimes those kinda trip is not because one cant afford the flight cost but for tourism and screnery . . . If you ever try such, you would love it . . . It is infact more expensive than flying when we do such trip, because we chill at hotels, stop for feed and take pix and all those fun things.

I will rather have Buhari look into why Nigerians (The most populated Black nation in the world )will have to have their visa to Canada being decided by Ghana and being processed there. . . I see that as an insult to Nigerians.
