Gurgle: Evolution also favours fat tummies.....back during the time when we were hunter-gatherers, the ones who survived in times of famine were those who could store lots of abdominal fat. And some cultures like fat women....eg Mauritania. 2 Likes |

Having a flat stomach is not necessarily a fashion statement (i agree it can be) but also a sign of health. All the protruding bellies we have in Nigeria are not healthy and that's why we have a high rate of heart diseases. Same applies to our police officers and senior military personnel all looking pregnant. I'm not saying you must have 6 pack and all that, but there is a level of fat you carry around your waist and tummy that is very unhealthy. misspicy: 2 Likes 1 Share |

missKiffy:You can my dear. Just eat less and drink a lot of water everyday. Three liters of water. No alcohol and no juice/mineral. Eat one meal a day. It's hard but in two weeks your stomach will be to die for. |

On a more serious note....excess abdominal fat can predispose one to hypertension, diabetes, and atherosclerosis and strokes. So, it may be necessary to flatten that belly...with exercise and fruit and veggie diet. (Me too!). Not just for beauty though! 2 Likes |

Who said? They do oo... even those girls and guys you see forming non-caring about flat tummy, deep down in their hearts, they care. They secretly wish to be like Trey Songz... Most times, it's just a case of carelessness and laziness. If there was a pill they could take to get firm tummies and abs, you would be surprised how that pill go move for market. Why do you see babes killing themselves with waist trainers? Why do you see a lot of nursing/lactating mothers rushing to share post partrum pics with flat tummies on instagram? 8 Likes 2 Shares |

90% of people with flat tummy in Nigeria are just thin naturally..it's not like they put any effort into it. Same goes for others with different sizes of belly..90% of them don't put any effort into flattening their tummy. Summary..90% of Nigerians don't care if their tummy is flat or not. Or at least..they pretend not to care 1 Like |

misspicy: It is not just about flat tummy. Most Nigerians don't care about being fit. Having a flat tummy is part of being fit, and this is one of the reasons we have low life expectancy. A simple running in the morning can do a lot to keep someone fit. Why do u think rich people with big stomach do a lot by going to they gym at their old age? A 50 year old Nigerian woman would look very old, meanwhile in the western world, a 50 year old woman would look very fit and strong. Keeping fit is not only about exercise, it also involves watching what we eat. Trust me when u are fit, u are going to be very happy with urself. 2 Likes |
