You paid her tuition once. (Which I assume is cheap) and you give her some change every now and then. Ok.

Is that enough for you to say you laboured for her, you sent her to school?

Did she not give companionship in return all those 4years?
Was she not cooking, cleaning and washing for you?
Another heartless biatch on the loose.Guys beware.
Men and lies.
She's not leaving you cos you're an OND cert holder (that can still further) with a lucrative business.

She's leaving you cos you're an a$$hoole.

I can only train a woman in school as an act of munificence just like I would any other human being if I had the facility, and not with the intention of sleeping with or marrying her. If it happens later naturally, fine. But training her for that purpose solely is foolhardiness and a great act of unwisdom.

No I'm not.

Male OND holders get married everyday.
Even many of the guys without OND who are hustling in ariaria and onithsa upper iweka market are married.

Many of them marry university graduates too.
nairaland is a distorted version of reality.

Girl, I don't know you, but I just fell in love with what you wrote up there.

Had I known all my labour on her would be in futility, I wouldn’t have spent my hard earned money on her. I looked forward to a bright future with her but my dreams have been shattered by the very one I gave true love. I’m an OND holder but into a lucrative business which is doing very well. I met my girl online four years ago, though that notwithstanding, people can meet anywhere. I was already done with my OND while she was in 200L in the university. She told me of how her mother died during the delivery of their lastborn and her dad had to remarry leaving her to cater for herself most times. I felt the urge to render the little assistance I could and I started giving her money for her upkeep that was like six months after we met. I can even remember paying her tuition fees one session. Now four years down the memory lane, after her graduation and NYSC, and getting a job in an ICT firm with a good pay, it suddenly dawned on her that she can't marry an OND holder because of the gap in education. I told her it is the love between us that matters most but she said she loves me but we are not compatible education wise as she still want to further her education. All these years she was “gulping” my money, calling me sweet names, she didn’t see the incompatibility. When her future was in disarray I was her messiah (am not boasting here) but now that she can look forward to a bright future I’m no more in the picture.

that's women for you,so heartless.yours is even better u have an OND n met her in 200L. A friend of mine,a neighbour, met a lady when she's looking for admission.he even paid for her jamb form n saw her through university,by paying for her fees, feeding allowance n upkeep, everything.he kept all d receipt he used in paying in money to her acct n believe me its a huge sum that could have elevated him bt he sent it on woman, only for her to tell him that he's an illiterate that she cannot b he's wife cos he's a primary school holder.

I think when people do good they should not do it for what they may gain from it but do it because their heart genuinely wants to. All this "after all I have done for you" nonsense is bullshyt. Your heart will be broken into pieces if that's your mentality. Even if you give a kidney, there is no obligation, na gift. If you nor gree, sign contract.

Is it too late for him to upgrade now? the crux of the matter is that some girls are self-centered and self-serving. It is so unfortunate that he did all that to the wrong person.

Let her go. Karma is a bitch that fu*ks better. U 'll meet someone that loves you for who you are and when you find that person, love her like it's your first love so the other gold digger can hear the tales of your love life and see what she missed.

Things we do for love. I sincerely do not blame you at all. You did the right thing by supporting her through school, as you had the intention of getting married to her. Sorry Mr. Poster. God will grant you a worthy wife. You will find a very good woman by God's grace. In the interim, do some online courses to achieve a BSc or further your education. Slowly but surely. You write good English and I guess you are intelligent. But, I pity that lady who has left you after 'using' you to achieve her academic goals. Why do I have this feeling that she'll regret her actions in few years? God bless you real good and may He grant you joy again. May he send you one that will accept and love you for real and with whom you shall have unlimited prosperity. Stay strong!
