I Dont know why interview in Nigeria is very difficult some times,I had an interview at the German Consulate here in Dubai yesterday is was as simple as ABC the lady asked how may i helped you,i told her im here for an interview so,she took my form and relevant documents entered all on system she told me to have my sit,at the end she called me back and asked me why Germany,then i told her due to Blabla bla bla,i even added my Certificate of employment here in UAE and my business card,she typed it on system then i did my finger print,we started gisting abt Lagos Naija cos she told me her dad have a bizz partner in Lagos i paid my visa fee,Then I kalas,If you are applying for Msc degree they dont question you that much but as for those applying for BSC or Diploma courses,they ask dem so many questions cos some of them cant even express themselves and not everyone of them speak English here,they have to be very sure if he/she is matured enough for the journey,the interview is not as tensed as Naija own o,cos the interviewer herself gan dey give those who where interviewed b4 me some expo.

I was also at the embassy on the 3rd of August for blocked account opening, I haven't received any response yet.

I feel he should answer the questions, what has he been doing since he left school in 2014?

Is he going for bsc or MSC?
Has he honestly not made any efforts to learn German? Even self study?

The embassy is trying to thoroughly check his intentions. If they are satisfied with the answers he provides good, if not .

I guess this E-mail is coming from the Alien office through the Embassy? They asked questions and are waiting for answers to the questions asked. I think the question 1 will answer question 2 if he has been working within the stipulated period. Also if he is not staying in Lagos. He can as well say, "due to the nature of his job and the distance (if he is not staying in Lagos), which doesn't give him room to enrol at Goethe institute. He should also check his school website very well to know if they have language course for international students, some schools have this. If yes, then he can include it in his reply that since his course is entirely taught in English and the school has already informed him of a free language course for international students, "it will be better he learn it in the school and German environment for faster assimilation" . But if he has already told them that he is doing nothing within the stipulated time during interview, I guess different approach should be used. Question 3, forward the DB payment or credit confirmation sent to him by the bank to them. #IMO

Hello Futurewise, I believe they needed a letter of employment to show what he has been doing for over a year. as Seyi have rightly said, the email is actually coming from the Alien office through the embassy. What I will suggest is this: If he has a job, he can request for a letter of appointment which will include his job responsibility and roles.

As for the german language, no excuse in saying "Goethe" is not in his/her state. he can simply tell them he has downloaded alot of applications and bought some pdf books to help him with the language. cos no german language school around him.

This is for others going for Bsc with some number of years between your applications. go to the embassy with your appointment letter(s). I wasn't asked but I submitted mine with my Job roles which tallied with my course.. it surely helps with detailed information about you. I also added my goethe A1 but removed my A2 certificate cos I don't want to complicate myself especially when the VO starts speaking high german to me. I used the following technics and I was fine. received a mail to send a deutsch bank account funding.

I think the question is from the Alliens Office.when was his interview and which state is he going to?
Honestly, he should be mindful of what he told them during his interview so his answers should be an advancement on that.

You guys are all right.. Nd yea.. The guy should try to REMEMBER every thing he said during the interview.. Cs we all know they document everyword we uttered during the interview.. If he mistakenly goes contrary when stating his points in the return email .. Omo na some serious one chance..

Hello house,

I have requested for my account statement as requested by the embassy because money was paid in last year October and deutsche bank is yet to send me the credit or account statement after 11 business day.

I am a bit worried cos I feel it's taking longer than necessary.

I have written them saverally and they keep saying the only way I can contact them is by filling the form on the bank website. Which I have done saverally.

I have check my spam folder. I paid in 8090 which was confirmed to me last year that 8040 was blocked.

I can't quite figure out how to resolve this ....could the bank have deducted more than 50 euro leaving me with insufficient balance or they're flooded with plenty request causing this delay.

I have written the embassy of my challenges.

Please anyone have a similar experience or an advise on what I need to do to get things sorted out as soon as possible
