- Photo one, that's the Navy's Camouflage. All navy personnel wear that camo, apart from Navy Special boat service.

- Photo two, Navy, the guy in blue in the middle is from the Airforce ( that's the Airforce camo), and the guy in woodland camo is from the Army.


- Photo three, the officers in blue are from the Airforce, former President GEJ is wearing the new universal camo intended to replace all army camos used up north. The President's ADC is wearing the old desert camo.

- Photo four, that's the Army's old woodland camo.

American military wants to be like SANDF by switching to only one universal camo.

South-African systems are generally obsolete and are poorly manned.

Frigates = Obsolete( Technical details have been provided) and poorly manned.

Gripens = Chronic pilot shortage and lacking BVR capabilities

Tanks = World war 2 relics

IPVs/ MPVs = virtually non-existent

Subs = Poorly manned/ obsolete

Artillery = so few in numbers

Infantry = the oldest in the world/ poorly trained ( CAR perfect example)

Mokopa missiles = Broke and cannot afford it.

APCs = for a country that makes them, they have so few in service. Their troops, Special forces in the CAR lacked basic APCs.

Verdict : the South-African military is generally an ineffective poorly trained and inexperienced force.

Unless you are mentally disturbed then you won't understand that SANDF does not look after game reserve animals. SANDF protect the country from national threat and that threat involves lives of the people and not animals. SANDF is not military of animals but of people. The special anti poaching squared was set up and is equal to the task and has decreased the poaching of rhinos.
