So because there's no running water in Daura and Otta as you claim, that justifies Otuoke from not having running water too?

You're very funny!

Jonathan should be thoroughly ashamed of him self if this is happening in his community. It's not to late for him to use part of his loot to help his kins men out of their predicament.

Blame the Local govt chairman.

After all it isn't Buhari's duty to see Daura gets potable water supply, nor was it GEJ's duty to see that Otuoke got potable water supply......it is the duty of the State Governor, the LG chairman, the State Water Board and the State Commissioners in charge of Water and Rural Development...to see that these areas get water.

Or do you expect the President to be micromanaging?

I am not a fan of Jona....I am even happy he lost the last election....but even he should not be doing other's work for them.

I blame the state Governor.....and the Local government chairman.

Because....unfortunately in this country, people expect Abuja to babysit the governor and the LG chairman.

Well.....the President cannot do everything at once. Just because the presido for the last 6 years was from the area does not give the local leader an excuse to do nothing.

The scarcity is partly caused by oil spilage; how come Jonathan was President for five years he didn't clean it up?

If Goodluck Jonathan could not clean up the oil that has polluted the rivers in Otuoke and provided portable water in his community, then it is very regrettable and shameful.
With the money he looted as president,he should provide water for his community and not wait for Buhari to do it

The real reason they don't have portable Water is due to pollution by the oil companies. It is the federal govt duty to ensure the oil companies clean up their mess.

Yes....but still...what is the local govt chairman doing? State governor?

Why can't they also do something? Like...get some experts together....and work with the oil company.

Time our local leaders did what we pay them for...
