Yes we got there at last the 2nd video is what I'm talking about.that screeder vibrates forces heavier sediments down just like the Co create poker.while the poker is pushing vertical screeder vi rates horizontaly.that's why yoy have a long aluminium frame.the bigger the project the wider the frame.

That is good. But like I said that is just doing the same work as our tilers does it, but much better. You will noticed that there are concrete floor there already before they added the sand and cement to the top to be screeded.
I believe in order to do this on a cured concrete, you still need to add sand and cement on top and creed it out, because without adding the sand and cement then you may encounter the gravels or granites used with the concrete mix unless none is used.
But the screeded floor does look real nice, then you still have to cover it with tiles anyway.
If you are just using finished floor, then screeding is a MUST in my book. Thank you for opening the discussions.

Yes I have.my cozen is a builder here in London and cos of my intrest I sometimes go e 8th him to site on Saturdays as I have a CSCS card and PPI .

Nothing is wrong with screeding the concrete and then lay tiles in the future. Have you ever seen concrete floor done in the U.S without smoothen it? Have you ever seen tiles laid in the U.S using sand and cement like they do in Nigeria? It would be better, cheaper and easier to lay tiles in Nigeria if our artisan start screeding concrete floor. A concrete floor that has been smoothen does not need cement and sand before tiling. If you think about it more, it is cheaper to have your concrete floor smoothen before laying tiles in the future. What is the benefit of not screeding your concrete floor and then have to smoothen it in the future with sand and cement?

The reason why you see every Tom, D1ck and Harry lay their tiles in the U.S is because there is an existing flat and smooth floor (sreeded).

Check the picture below. Don't you think it would be a lot easier and cheaper to lay tiles on the screeded concrete?

Exactly my point, if you can do this then no need for extra sand and cement, you can just do a rich mix and lay your tiles with the right trowel, have you seen the proper trowel for tile laying?

This is the proper tile trowel, note the jags at the edge,these create void on the mix on top the surface so when you apply pressure to the tile the mixture ie cement and sand has space to accommodate the displaced mixture

And this is how it should be done, I did the kitchen tiles at my Mum's this way and it was excellent.
