all those saying that it does not matter where those on government comes from are at best naive, hypocritic or stupid at worst, or saying so just to save face at the unexpected outcome of events.
if place of origin does not matter, why do different geo political and ethnic groups scheme and plan with all they have to capture political power and strategic positions in government?

FIRS made about 4.8 Trillion naira for the government last year. Now a Lagosian who is also Tinubu boy is now leading FIRS. Now tell me, is Tinubu winning or losing? Better keep you mouth shut. Senator Okunrunmu is a Wailing Wailer, let him and others continue wailing. Senator Okunrunmu and other Yoruba losers including Ohanaeze, South South Poeple's Assembly, Ijaw Youth Council, Nigeria Millitant Association, Oodua People's Congress and other nonentities all queue behind Goatluck Jonascam, but the Jagaban, Rotimi Amaechi, Rochas Okorocha were behing Buhari. Can you now understand the adage that one with God is a majority. Buhari is a president today because God is with him, you have 8 years (2 * 4 years) to wail and cry.

Tinubu boy from Lagos appointed by Buhari to head FIRS - Federal Inland Revenue Services - WHICH EARNED 4.8 Trillion Naira for the government last year.

And you are jubilant. Now see from what lens you corrupt lot see government appointments in Nigeria.

But those who mean well for Nigeria, including the Senator Okuounrounmis, you call them Wailing Wailers.

[b]They're already regretting. Most of the vocal ones I know have suddenly become docile. Shame nor let some talk. They put up lame defence like "as long as Buhari performs".. undecided.

While the South is waiting for performance and change as they say, the North has already gotten their change and they're consolidating on it, securing their future and political grip on the country.

Sad but true, Tinubu might just have sold the Yorubas to slavery. How long it will last is what's not known yet. What was he bloody expecting aligning with Buhari?

If Tinubu is as astute as some imply, he would have brought out Fashola or someone else and sell his candidate. Not standing behind an already known Nothern figure and act as a war chest. Now I really believe Yinka Odumakin who aptly described Tinubu as one who plays Ludo in Lagos and couldn't understand the Chess game played in Abuja.

Even CBN governor and NNPC GMD are headed by Delta Igbos. As it's turning out to be I'm sure at the end of the day the political juggernauts from the South West will discover Jonathan was a better deal!

politically speaking, let us drop sentiments aside or even Nigerias development. Crude politics is what is being played in Nigeria. I don't know why the SW felt that they would be able to tell the Northerners what to do. And the annoying thing is that they believe that they and the North are pals.....a brief example is the SW muslims and the Northern muslims.....they don't usually pray in the same mosque and even if they do,that mosque would never be headed by a yoruba Muslim.....even a friends gate man as uneducated as he is says the yorubas are not straight forward people because they practice their culture and traditions before religion........when the mai guard was saying this I was like wow.....the North base most of their political decisions on religion and tribal affiliation......they feel that they are more superior....I didn't vote for buhari because going buy his antecedents, he lacks the profile of who would move Nigeria where we want us to be........the north might be comfortable with the country this way because they have always been laid back and are not that ambitious when it comes to life but the south is a different kettle of fish........the truth is, and I choose my words carefully is that the North benefits from doing things the wrong way because it puts them In a very strategic position. If things where to be done rightly, they would be the greatest loosers.....that is why they have to be in the helm of affairs.......but how long they would be in control is what I don't know.....the igbos where I come from are people who do not like to be bossed around......and the civil war even made them more aggressive in nature......they would always complain and feel non chalant about Nigeria...........if everybody is given a fair chance @ making it in Nigeria, the North would loose out........but why the SW decided to piTch tent with these people beats my imagination.....the SW would have had a say in GEJs government but they blew that chance.....I still feel sorry for those who think having light generation is the only means to development............it would soon clear in their eyes

Why r Nigerian so heartless? Was it Buhari that fixed NEPA? Taking credit of another man's project. This country is indeed wicked. If we deny the achievment of others, we can never progress.
