Teempakguy:It might be true... Your big head are full of many things. Tell me, how do you ask so much questions? I want to borrow your head and torment these lecturers |
Re: 10 Ways Every Nigerian Student Reacts After Checking His/Her Semester Result by Nobody: 11:24pm On Sep 01, 2015 |
herald9: My head is indeed full of many things. But I'd bet yours has far more. Oh! you want to torment your lecturers, right? You don't need my head for that though. So, I'll be keeping it. Unfortunately, the best method I have is rather labour-intensive. Read ahead of the class. |
Re: 10 Ways Every Nigerian Student Reacts After Checking His/Her Semester Result by herald9: 12:14am On Sep 02, 2015 |
Teempakguy:Not tormenting per se. You see, asking them questions such as the ones you ask here might put them off balance, next time they become wary of you... Imagine if you get like ten of those questions in one lecture... The problem is if I read ahead, I won't be reading to ask questions, cause I'll try to resolve any difficulties I run into in order to make sense of what I'm reading. So asking what you already sounds plain silly. The enthusiasm won't be there. |
Re: 10 Ways Every Nigerian Student Reacts After Checking His/Her Semester Result by Nobody: 12:25am On Sep 02, 2015 |
herald9:ooooh, I see. Well, if you want to do that, you're going to have to ask them seriously wicked questions that will cause their brains to reset. But first, ask yourself. Ask, what if? bout anything. Anything you observe. C'mon! You can do it! I personally had a book where I write questions I've been asking myself. Some of them have been solved, some have not. I usually present the questions to friends who are Good! If they answer, I mark the question. If not, I put a star in front of it. So, I put a star for every person who can't answer it correctly after attempting it. So, a question with twelve stars has had twelve of my brilliant friends cracking their heads over it to no avail. I grade the difficulty of each question. Imagine asking a lecturer a twenty star question. The embarrassment sef will reboot his brain fast fast. Or you could just take a shortcut and copy-and-paste freaking mind blowing questions from quora.com. |

Lol. The tension that comes with checking results is a big one o. But it's high time the tertiary institutions make the results available online, or deliver each student's result by hand individually. Students should have some privacy in that regard. |
