There is nothing the government can or will do about it. Nigeria does not have a private sector minimum wage law. Even in the public sector where minimum wage exists, they have pegged it at N18,000. EIGHTEEN-FVKING-THOUSAND.

If they deem 18,000 sufficient, I wonder what they will say to someone complaining about 20,000.

Same shitt different toilet. 18k minimum wage vs the tens of millions paid to Law makers etc.
Same as the scenario being complained about.

That's like reporting an armed robber to Boko Haram.

sometimes i wonder if ppl get sense or are just plain greedy ...........
like many hv said, minimum wage in ng is 18000 n the driver complains that he is recieving 20000 minimum , others get 25k, 30 and even 40k, whats the guarantee that if they quit and go for another job they wil be paid up to that amount? maybe he forgot that other ppl work for dangote, ...... and the last line where he said the expatriates are paid 2.5m, shey d driver fit do 1% of watin does ones dey do?

The fact is dat most company underpay staffs xpecially banks..this is what NLC should be looking into but unfortunately they r no were to b found

U wil be surprise that this companies has workers union n even pay union fee( deducted from salary befor payment) but ask an average staff if he s aware of any union, u wil b surprise he s not even aware of any union not to talk of knowing those collecting the the union fee he s paying for
