Goodboiyy: They are very stingy. That is why Delta State is still underdeveloped since the independence of Nigeria on October 1, 1960. They hardly invest in the development of their people. 10 Likes |

Goodboiyy: The only thing I know about these tribes is that their women are strong and hard working, if u marry them u have the tendency of growing fast in life because they are independent women. As for their men, forget the big names u hear o, they are just lazy and are all womanisers. If you marry their men as a woman, u will die of heart attack My submission. 12 Likes 1 Share |

I agree with #3. I was in one of the coastal areas in Bayelsa with a friend that was from there for almost a month several years ago. Even though I'm Yoruba, everyone in the community were very friendly to me. I got the chance to learn their cultures and ways of life. Some of them were weird to me though, but overall I admit it was a fascinating experience. I even got to know some of the community leaders back then. Unfortunately those were in the very early days of GSM, so I couldnt have got their contacts. I'm sure they still remember me till now. I guess cos I was the only one that couldn't speak their language whenever we were together. I think I went back to that Nembe island about 3 or 4 more times after my first visit. I had started seeing a girl I met there and we were cool for almost five years. 2 Likes |

Bjergtrolde:lol guy u funny o, enter igbo land as a yoruba guy and see tribalism in action, or better yet go hausa land as igbo man, wha d guy is saying is true , down south they accomodate far more than the average yoruba, igbo or northerner. as for wealth, na the east hustle pass o, more so than our south bros then again iv nt seen any1 more polygamous than a yoruba man........ hausa dey too and d least is an igbo man but like op said, all these things should be what brings us together learning from each oda in order to strengthen our weaknesses #proudlydeltan&ogunstate #proudly nigerian 4 Likes |
