The officer that testified never claimed to be INEC. infact, he was subpoenaed and he stated what he saw. Its left for the court to decide and overrule INEC if need be.

If you ask Wike now, he would have preferred the case was struck out, than defend a petition as bad this as. He knows, if Peterside had his way, the probability of him returning to the governor is near negative!

This is somebody who was poised to win the election in a free and fair owing to the huge sympathy Rivers people had for the President Jonathan, but he decided to over do things, to make sure Amaechi was humilated, to make people believed APC never existed in Rivers, too impress Jonathan and his Biafra warlords..then here we are!

And for all those saying, Wike will win 100 times, I laugh you in all "Spanish"..It shows good number of people here are just naive or poor students of politics. Let me put it Straight, Wike without the Police, Military DSS, Thugs and Federal instruments is a mere political charlatan...And if the election was cancelled, Wike without the above will definitely struggle to win Obi Akpor LG! Yes Ngene says so!

What is funny is that People are under the illussion that rivers is a PDP State. laughable!

Amaechi/dakuku and Wike tore ikwerreland right down the middle.

There are some parts of ikwerreland you dare not shout PDP/WIKE...likewise,there are some parts you dare not scream APC/Amaechi/dakuku.

If you think the APC is not strong in rivers,you are in for a shocker.

Nigeria army during Jonathan prior to the election was grossly manipulated and could not come out to tell the truth like today. The wind of CHANGE is indeed everywhere.

If we ought to do things, let's do them right. I'm no fan of Dakuku but I hope the tribunal upholds the rights of the Rivers State indigene to pick his leader without electoral violence and subordination.

for those of you not resident in PH,cast your mind back to when you heard "obio akpor" for the First Time.
you heard about the LG because it was and is still is the second richest LGA in the country AND Its large population of touts.
The second reason was because of WIKE.

GEJ was defeated convincely that's why he conceded the defeat. However, there was a lot of irregularities in Rivers State election. Let wike defend d allegations before d tribunal

On a serious note why are we having these tribunals in the southern states only?

During the election we saw loads of under-age voters in the northern states but nobody is talking about that.

The winner will have to work very hard and INEC will have to be in top shape.

ApC hausa party will never rule rivers state . if u like make fuel one naira. power 38hours a day. ameachi and ApC is dead in rivers state. i only sorry 4 dakuku

One certainty is..... APC can never rule Rivers State

1 year ago, somebody said the same thing about APC ruling Nigeria.

Infact the person said; Even if APC presents Jesus as their presidential candidate, they still can never win the PDP at the Federal level. .

See how that played out.. grin

Now look at it like this:: For the first time in Rivers States democratic history, PDP does not control the following key factors that affect the outcome of the elections:

1. The Center (Abuja, the Presidency, Aso Rock)
2. INEC
3. The security apparatus (The Army, The Police, NSCDC).

Other factors to consider includes;

This would be the first time Rivers State would be having an election outside election season. Meaning there would be surplus Security agents in the state, Surplus INEC staff and monitoring personnel for the elections.

The election would be heavily monitored and so PDP wouldn't have the ease of rigging they have enjoyed in the state for over 16 years.

My guy, if this na Nairabet matter, I go advise you to think we'll before you gamble. Even Bayelsa sef no sure for PDP again.

PDP underestimated APC at the National level and today, APC are the majority in both Federal Houses of Rep's and Senate and also the Presidency.

Because ur co-pdp members who are based in the north knows that they have no case. All parties benefitted from Underaged voting unfortunately. Remember also that PDP registered them.
