New brunswick is actually very cool, mostly a coastal province not too populated too but i think you can only apply to one province i stand to be corrected though. raciacha: |

ssemire: You should still be okay if the name of the recipient reflect in your statement of account then and also same name returning on the credit. You will only have to explain. You only have to make sure you submit a statement with duration covering both transactions even if it has to exceed 6 months I have something similar. Though am fswp2014. My salary account was requested for 6 months and I have a large deposit about a month old from another company I do personal business with. The coy has however deposited in my account last in January which will not be inclusive of the 6 month requested. So I end up printing a year account (30 pages) so as to show previous ties with the coy and I got my MR two days after delivery to AVO. I believe with same name on debit and credit you should be okay with a little explanation. BEST OF LUCK. 3 Likes |

Hello good people, I've been following this thread anonymously like forever. Just have a quick question on IELTS: I just checked my result L9, R8.5, S7.5, W7 and noticed that an extra 0.5 in W will give me 3 extra CRS points. Does it make sense to appeal ie request for a remark? |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zandora: 11:24am On Sep 13, 2015 |
Issydebo: First of all what is your CRS score? If your score is above 450 then don't ask for a reassessment because: 1) At above 450 you have a good chance of receiving an ITA. 2) If your score remains unchanged then you would've wasted your money. 3) While the Reassessment is going on (which takes weeks) you won't be able to use your IELTS score which means you won't be in the EE pool and hence miss out on a potential ITA. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Issydebo: 11:37am On Sep 13, 2015 |
@Zandora, CRS score is sub 450 (437). Thanks for your response |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Issydebo: 12:06pm On Sep 13, 2015 |
@Zandora, The CRS score stated excludes IELTS for my spouse. She's not too keen in doing it. If she takes it (IELTS) with a minimum of 6 each then i'Lloyd most definitely cross the 450 mark (454) by my calcn. PS she doesn't want to be the principal applicant if at all (using her profile with standard L8 R7 S7 W7 will give us 460+ |

labiz001: @Labiz001, When did you complete your medicals? Have you heard from them since? Cheers. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zandora: 2:05pm On Sep 13, 2015 |
Issydebo: Hmm why doesn't want to be the principal applicant? With your CRS score of 437 you won't be going anywhere soon and re-evaluating your IELTS will only give you 0.5 if successful and there's a 20% success rate. I suggest your wife should take the IELTS because if she does and scores L8 R7 S7 W7, your score will increase to 457 which is a very good score and even if she scores slightly less in some sections you'll still be above 450. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Issydebo: 3:17pm On Sep 13, 2015 |
Issydebo: Can my spouse use my bank statements for Proof of funds if she decides to deal as the principal applicant ? I guess that's the major reason she's not keen (but using my statements will help cross the hurdle). |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 4:53pm On Sep 13, 2015 |
ssemire:How was the money transferred to your brother, was it by cheque, bank transfer, draft? if you have a documentary proof like bank statements, carbon copies e.t.c showing the money leaving your account, then your problem is solved. I would advise you use the ITA. Immigration programs are usually subject to economic situation/political party in government. I learnt this the hard way during the days of hsmp in the UK. Election is coming up in Canada and the country is in a technical recession as well. |

Issydebo: No she can't. The funds have 2 be in the principal applicant's name or joint with spouse. If u trust her can you add her to your account so she can be the principal applicant ? |
