Hello house,

Please i need clarity about what VETASSESS meant by uploading a certify copy of my passport biopage.

I uploaded the original copy, they're still telling me they're not satisfied with it... and in 15 days time they'll cancel my application if i don't provide it.

This is strange. I scanned the original copy and was not asked for a certified copy. The person must be one Cert III qualified person who behaves like a robot.

@40manlappy,

You already quoted a post that listed the steps and process. That is all you need, follow the listed process.

the 6.5 score spoilt your good English score. You will need to rewrite to get at least 7point in each of the band.

If you go through the occupation list and you find an occupation that closely match your skill, either you or your wife can be the principal applicant. You both should do a self-assessment to know who has the higher points. The person with the higher points is better suited to be the principal applicant.

Thanks a great deal for your individual contributions. Will work on your suggestions/recommendation. Thanks and God bless!

May we have good testimonies to share at the end of it all.

A quick one: must the PTE be taken by both of us or the principal applicant?

Only the principal applicant should take it.

Customer service manager requires 3 years relevant experience to be assessed by Vetassess

What am about to say might not go down well with you. am also an engineer with a first degree in chemical engineering and currently doing masters here in australia. what am about saying is out of love and not as a hater. IF I WERE U I WILL COME TO OZ VIA PR (PERMANENT RESIDENCE) no need to come and waste your money especially when u plan on not being an academic. it will be better to enter and come do a six months internship to have australian work experience before starting to look for work than to come here all in an effort to get post work study after spending thousands of dollars with no access to scholarships like our brothers and sisters in the united states. if u have plenty money or on scholarship its a different case entirely. as for me i never looked at the PR critically until i was over invested in the whole student visa parade. Dont get it wrong coming to do Masters here is noble but i am asking you to do your COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS. truth is after school and ur post work study big ass employers still want u to have PR before they employ u. i have been here three months and 10 days now. in this time i have started my PR waka thanks to all the info i got from the lengends on this forum Bosslady et al. i decided to be proactive and have gone to several recruiters like chandler macloed, Hays and spoken to several other recruitment advisors in this firms. my general strategy was to inform them about my circumstance and ask them for advice on how to integrate myself into the industry after my program. BROS i cant begin to speak the english that i heard. plenty advice "Reasonable and unreasonable" the bottom line was I NEEDED PR ASAP. i have met other nigerians who came here with PR and working professional jobs with only BSC. if i get hold of that PR today all this acada will turn distant learning at my convenience or part time. MORAL OF MY STORY.... PR without work experience is better than masters without paper... so just take your time and come via PR. but if u are not patient enough you can still come ooooh its still waaaaaaay better than being in naija with all this drama and all. just be prepared to work your ass off to foot your bills if you dont have enough support from home.

God bless.

sorry about your refusal. Did they give exact details about why they feel your BSc is unsuitable. Is it your course of study, the university, or the class of degree? Maybe you can restrategize

Is your course related to the one you applied for?
Try regional sch or take a shot at advanced diploma.

@Scrollmeout,

I think the house mis-understood me, the Nigeria New Immigration Law Since July 15th allows renewed passport numbers on the new passport which will state on the new passport as "Old Passport Number" and the new passport will still have its own Passport number, this is for reference sake.

scrollmeout:

@ewagbamio. Nice one from you. It shows u really appreciate it gers when they give their time to help others. @Bellong and @erictack203, good job guys.
I have some questions that may help others with their application too

1. Is it really true that renewed passports carry the same passport numbers? Mine was renewed but has different numbers.

2. Ewagbamio, what exactly do you mean by an unabridged birth certificate. Aside from carrying both parents' names, are there any other requirements? By the way...those guys at PH NPC are very helpful

@scrollmeout, guys here are really wonderful, Google doesn't even come close. I hope to be able to contribute to the brain pool one day.
Frim the experiences if close friends, new passport = new passport no, but as long as you notify the relevant embassies then it is no big deal.

What I have is birth certificate, from the info I gathered, people born after 1992 can't get the NPC birth certificate but only an attestation so I intend going to the NPC for the Attestation.

How was your experience at the NPC in PH?
Did you get a birth certificate or attestation?
Where is the place in PH?
What are the requirements? I was told I'd need an affidavit or so
Cost?
Do u hv any contact there that can help in expediting things

thanks

I got the attestation for myself. I had a BC issued by a local govt and i wanted one from NPC. I lost the lady's contact no but it's pretty straightforward. The office is upstairs. Just ask them to direct u at the gate. Yes, you will need an affidavit. The high court is their neighbor so you can pay for it to be done for u if u wish. It's been more than a year and i can't really remember how much but I know It didn't cost more than 4000. You will also need a passport photo of yourself and at least one of your parents.

The process takes a day or two even three. They'll tell u when u can come back to fetch it
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by erictack203(m): 2:02pm On Sep 14, 2015
New Passports now carry's old passport number for Ref sake, the last passport that expired will be ref on the new Passport as "Previous Passport No" and the new Passport will still have its own number.

Pinkygrace:

@no1. New passport don't carry same passport numbers. And you can have visa on and old expired passport and have a new passport . NIS stamp cancell without prejudice on the old one. And the visa will still be valid

Hi All,

Tony Abbots Leadership was Challenged and was Voted out today as the PM of Australia. Marculn Turnbull is the New Australian PM.

This guy is against Immigration and in support of Gay Marriage, the guy also suggested that Australia PR should be sold for about AuS50,000 which will generate billions for the Government while help get people to work in the Country at the same time. Then Tony Abbot insisted that Australian Citizenship is "not for sale".

This is a fact! Mr Turnbull tried unsuccessfully last year but I guess he was fortunate this time around. I hope his radical ideas do not become law anytime soon, at least before we all get our hearts' desires .

He suggested that Immigration PR should be sold for 50k dols, and that it would generate billions of dollars for the economy, Tony Abbot opposed him, saying Immigration is not for sale.

Now he is the PM, any law he set goes, I pray he should not mess things up anytime soon.

My wife qualified for PR and she has been refusing to write IELTS, abeg make una help me tell her, I nor get 50k to give Australia ooo.
