Madam, please in the future, visit the family planning unit of any hospital for proper counseling. Implanon does not cost more than 2k at UPTH.

To answer your question you did not use it correctly. It is emergency contraception for instances where you have unplanned unprotected sex its is not meant to regular use.

I wonder why some men always get angry with their wives in situations like this.Family planning is the responsibility of both the hubby and wife.Why didn't he go for vasectomy if he didn't want more children?

Have you guys thought of getting permanent contraception? Your husband could get a vasectomy which is easier to do and more effective than ligating your tubes, about 98% or so.
But for this present situation sha, like a lot of last borns in Nigerian families ,na mistake and you go born am. When he grows older, he would always be reminded say na postinor mistake.

Now on a serious note,Postinor was never made to be a regular form of contraception. It is strictly for emergency contraception and its not practical for use amongst married couples or people who are getting "IT"regularly so you guys got it wrong there. Any of the two could be good.They are more permanent solutions if they don't want children anymore than using an implant.

Postinor 2 is not a family planning contraceptive, it's an emergency contraceptive used by singles or couples who are not leaving together, it's supposed to be taken within 72hrs after unprotected sexual intercourse... maybe you broke the rule.. I wish you safe delivery for now and avoid self prescription after delivery rather, visit a family planning unit...
