The rate at which young women abort pregnancies these days is indeed very alarming. Come to think of it, how can someone think the best way to correct their mistake is to take the life of an innocent baby? Don’t they have a conscience? There’s supposed to be a life sentence for anyone who does this.

The silliest excuse they give is that they aren’t ready for parenthood. If you aren’t ready, then why do you go about having unprotected sex? okay, I understand the fact that sometimes, you get carried away and forget to use protection. If any action is to be taken, why not take it immediately rather than wait till the foetus is formed? Once you’re confirmed pregnant, I’m afraid you have to carry your cross else you label yourself a murderer.

One major reason why young girls go about aborting is that they are ashamed to face the public and scared of their parents. Now, instead of aborting, why not gather as much money as you can from the father of the child and any other person you can think of and go somewhere far from home to have your baby. Your parents will surely come around if they eventually see the child and realize you did it in order to save them from the shame they would have felt. Isn’t that a better idea?

Don’t get me wrong. I am not advising young girls to get pregnant and run away from home. What I am saying is that we should put a stop to the shedding of innocent blood. Imagine what would have happened if the likes of President Barrack Obama, President Goodluck Jonathan, Oprah Winfrey or the great Bill Gates of Microsoft had been aborted.

So my dear ladies face the shame and carry that child. You might be carrying the Bill Gates of our time.
