The development going on in Anambra state is massive I went to Nkwere last Sunday it seems 33, Nkwere is developing more than Awka, there are many estates around there even the one built by state government, the road from express to Trans Nkisi need to be dualise, I also went to oil and agriculture rich town Anam, God really blessed Anambra state, the town is so beautiful good roads, standard bridges, good structures I was told that the roads and bridges were built by former governor Peter Obi, RCC and Sentraco were the contractors that handled the projects, I will post the pictures when I'm through with my exploration, it really fun to tour round Anambra for you to understand how great the state is, please I want to use this opportunity to beg those close to state government, Nkwere road down to express need dual carriageway, Unizik temp site down to Okpuno need dual carriageway, ifite road need government attention, I really appreciate great works Willie's administration is doing in all sectors, from health, eduction, roads, transport, agriculture, commerce and industry, security, oil and gas etc. God bless Anambra state and Igbo nation.

If only our past leaders had foresight,[size=16pt] they wouldn't have constructed single carriage roads in a fast developing cities when there were enough space to construct at least 4 lanes dual carriage roads.[/size] The money we are spending to dualize them today would have been channelled to a different project. Investment Drive: Obiano Pays Courtesy call on Chinese Ambassador, Mr. Gu Xiaojie

In line with Governor Obiano's aggressive drive to attract investments into Anambra State, yesterday being Wednesday, September 16, 2015, Chief Willie Obiano paid a courtesy call on the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Gu Xiaojie at the Chinese Embassy, Abuja FCT.

Discussions focussed on possible areas of partnership between the Peoples Republic of China and the Anambra State Government. Agriculture, Waste Management, Trade & Commerce, Oil & Gas, Housing among other sectors were extensively discussed.

During deliberations, Mr. Xiaojie expressed a clear understanding of current events in Nigeria as he commended the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano on his successful creation of an enabling environment for the private sector participation over the last 18 months.

Governor Obiano extended an invitation to the Ambassador to visit Anambra at his convenience. He further stated that the State's investment promotion agency, ANSIPPA shall follow up on all discussions and potential partnership opportunities with the Trade and Investment desk at the Embassy.

Bro, I think Obi tried. He was the one who constructed Judiciary road and Secretariat road in Awka, they are all dual carriages but they all terminated at around Ekwueme Square. It would have been lovely if the roads were extended to connect other communities likely Ifite. I hope that the Greenwood road will not terminate at Greenwood. It should be extended to connect Isiagu community.
