The funny thing is that all security agencies will be falling over themselves to claim credence for his arrest. Saraki should just honourably go to the nearby police station to avoid embarrassment. At least a country should have laws and order! 79 Likes 8 Shares |

If Nigerians have learnt anything new today, it is that the CCT operates differently under the current administration. No longer can it be described as a mere appendage to a faltering judicial system, as it once was - much like a certain 'commissioner' who appears to have lent his considerable experience to current proceedings.... Sensationalism is just the hallmark of APc. Assuming without conceding that Saraki is guilty as charged, how will his prosecution bring about the turn around we have always yearned for in Nigeria. Sometimes I feel this govt is lacking in vision and strategy, no economic policy, no single policy direction, after 100 days of governance, yet all they do is to pick fight they will not win. I'm also thinking that this Sarikigate is a ploy to pass on the inefficiency in this administration to the Senate leadership. We know that Saraki will most certainly fight back, because he's got the support of the PDP senators, so when he starts fighting back, it will be a case of the senate frustrating the efforts of the president - I want us also at that time to remember that Buhari started this dirty war game. As is in any democracy the executive branch will most certainly want to have a normal working relationship with the legislative. 28 Likes 3 Shares |
