The names you saw there were for those who met the Merit and catchment. Others would be added to them from Pre-degree/foundation programme. Others would come from Long leg and connections, others by sheer luck, others who are 1 or 2marks short off the cut-off while others would simply be by Grace.

Ultimately, be assured that not less than 95 names would join that list. This is because Unilag admits about 150 medical students annually. The anxiety now lies in whether you'll be among the lucky ones. After the Merit list, any other person that gains admission is by luck. Contact one or two persons that you know and talk to God also about it. (Prayer)

A friend did pre-science in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka for Medical Laboratory Science and also sat for University of Benin Post-utme for Medical Biochemistry - he had 280 & 62 for both respectively.
Now, the admission lists for both are out and he made them, but he's confused 'bout the one to take.

Dear, if indeed your brother had 71. Don't worry yourself. His name will come out for the supplementary list. The guys there in the admissions office are just not clinical this year. Or was your Brother part of those whose results were initially witheld?

I'll advice you go to Lagos with your slip and there lodge your complaint. Never assume that they know. And don't consider your pocket o. The effort worth it.

Medical lab science is a relatively new course in d university, I heard NUC even refused to accredit it.

Biochemistry is a relatively better course. As for me, I will go for biochemistry.
