we Igbos have been good people to the Nigerian state but some people have choose not to treat us as brothers but as enemies and strangers.
Lemme take u back memory lane;
1) The yorubas were one of the first to meet the whiteman so it gave them dominance over sectors like education im d early 1900's but when the Igbos met the whiteman they developed educationally so much even surpassing the yorubas so much that they started complaining that Igbos want to dominate them, "Akintola is a good example".
2) The yorubas started trading with the British long ago even before the people of eastern Nigeria(Igbos) started wearing clothes, but when igbos got into trading "u all know the result they all started complaining that igbos want to take over there markets"recent threads on Nairaland" is a good example.
The message I want to pass to some people is that;
we igbos might not have ventured into manufacturing yet, but the day we would take thet route the manufacturing companies in the southwest would complain about igbo companies taking ovet there places in the stock exchange, a word is enough for the wise, so let us live in one love.

Yari.ba have never dominated anything in Nigerian and certainly education is one of them. Most people in Nigeria are totally confused about the Yari.ba and returnees. If one separates returnees in Lagos, the picture will certainly surprise many people.

You don't get it do you? Ibos are now pariah all over the world. IBO nation needs to look inwards and build alaigbo instead of coming Westwards.

You are loathed everywhere due to your proclivity to criminality and subversion of the rule of law and all that is normal.

No hate but Ibo really need a self appraisal and reorientation about what they really want.

If you like get into manufacturing, whatever gains you make will be eroded and reversed in a jiffy through protective policies and starves off competition to core Yoruba interests.

I now understand why Ahmedu Bello initiated the Nothernization policy back in the 60s.

In all these, we thank seun osewa for opening our eyes to what we were hitherto blind to.

Relocate the oil companies headquarters to niger delta and lagos will be free from igbo migration.

Nigerian Federation was flawed when the oil companies were forced to move their head quarters to lagos against every business logic during the civil war using decree 6 in1969.
Ever since niger delta leadership has not lived up to reputation in their reasoning by allowing these headquarters to remain in lagos of all places.
Time will not permit me to list the full benefits lagos has derived and robbed niger delta by these brazen act of robbery.

Hope came the way of niger delta when an igbo born chima ibeneche who was then the managing director of lng defied and dared the world of wickedness and impunity by relocating the headquarters of lng back to the Niger delta state of Rivers.
Since then even Deziani Madueke did not relocate a single company headquarters to niger delta and jonathan on the last week of his regime ordered the dry dock that is been built for lng projects to be relocated to bayelsa state only to be rebuffed and taken to court with niger delta leaders looking confused.

The sitting of the headquarters of MNCs is basically a business decision and is not a function of executive fiat.

There must be a condusive environment for there to be investment. Even if all MNCs move into alaigbo, Lagos will still be Lagos.

The problem with the north, southeast and south is one more of its human capital.

I often ask myself why should I invest in iboland when its best brains are emigrating out of it at a rate faster than I can calculate?

Please when we argue, let's do it devoid of sentiments.I believe the ibos have what it takes to turn alaigbo into an investment haven, all they have to do is look inwards.

if all ibos invest all their cash in Lagos, it won't make them own Lagos.The day an IBO man rules Lagos is the day all Ibos will sacked from the same Lagos.

Ndigbo!!! Look inwards, its in you.

I never said its not a melting pot. My contention has always been that ibos can't aspire to rule it or to question Yoruba authority therein. The day they try and succeed then we can as well burn it to the ground. We all know before that happens, Ibos will flee.

You would notice we don't have a problem with other ethnic groups in this same Lagos but only IBO's.That should tell you something.

ibos caused the xenophobic attacks in South Africa earlier this year, the other Africans were just unfortunate to partake in the punishment.

Our wrath is solely for the Ibos.

Cest fini.

It was also because of igbo dominance in the civil service that made Yoruba n Hausa to call for Federal character to be added to the civil service.

Brother to be honest, I have never envied any ibo man before or the entire ibo race, instead I pity them because of what they are going through.I feel they don't need to go through the insults and the ignominy of being labelled criminals (which they really are).

The leading cause of hate for the ibos is their tendency to move out of their land into other people's land to constitute nuisance therein. Just telle where ibos are loved please.

I feel ibo suffering is self inflicted because I don't see a reason why ibos can't turn Enugu into another Lagos and it is a very nice place.

No Yoruba or Hausa can be jealous of you because these 2 tribes have conquered ibos and made them 2nd class citizens in Nigeria.

So I don't know where you get the jealousy rhetoric from bro.
