Do not let anyone fool you!
Former Nigerian Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-
Iweala got her well touted latest appointments
from two international entities that had benefited
generously from doing business with her in Nigeria.
Lazard Freres was the company @NOIweala hired
as a consultant for Nigeria's debt negotiation in
2005 while she was former President Obasanjo's
minister of finance, Lazard got paid $100,000 per
month throughout the negotiations and some have
said it was the reason Obasanjo gave her a boot.
As per GAVi, weeks before she left office in May
2015 she also paid GAVI $2.2m in questionable
refunds that the Federal Ministry of Health, EFCC
and some NGOs claim were dubious. Omoyele Sowore 4 Likes |

dTruth101: The woman is an economic hit-woman. If she's not jailed by the Buhari's administration, then I'll know that the 'change' is a joke. In other serious countries, Ngozi would be executed for treason and economic sabotage. 4 Likes |

dTruth101: What about world bank where she worked before, which economy did she destroy to get there. Do you have a job, what is the highest hieght u have attained in your carrier? Who knows u besides for family and friends? Have u ever been appointed to head anything in your life? Even if its your family kitchen. I doubt, so it is easy for a low life like u to write rubbish about someone whose success should inspire you to get out of the shit hole ur in. 10 Likes 4 Shares |

JustCalMeDBoss:Sadly , you did not attempt to confront or attend to the veracity of the post. The question to be asked is "are there on going investigation about the $2.2 million illegal refund to Gavi by NOI "??the answer is a confirmed YES SS. Instead ,you are foaming in the mouth talking gibberish. 1 Like |

azzima: I was a fan of NOI until the tail-end of GEJ's presidency. I was surprised she stayed with the government, despite the sleaze organized under her watch as finance minister. She became finance minister as a revered technocrat and left the post as a typical Nigerian politician. In any case, these allegations against her are very serious. 2 Likes |

mekaboy: Nobody is saying she didn't do some good. I could never have been a fan anyway if I hadn't seen some good in her. But she looked on as financial crimes were perpetrated under her watch. For instance, the NNPC issue clearly showed she wasn't on top of her job as finance minister! Or perhaps she knew about the whole affair but looked away. Whichever way you want to see it, she should have left GEJ's government to protect her integrity. Instead she became a politician and stayed. 2 Likes |

The west sent her to destroy our economy. The same west duara dullllard is running to everyday. Since she left Nigeria lost 4.1 trillion so whom do we blame for that.? How do we expect to grow the economy when states are always expecting from the fg rather than develop their various states? How do we expect to grow when states use fg allocations to build talking drums. Mumu people. 1 Like 1 Share |

Whynotthetruth: Brother, I don't know how you feel but me, when people accuse NOI for the funny things that characterized the NNPC, I feel...don't know the proper adjective to describe it. Volksfurher, do yourself some good and go make some research most especially the functions of a Minister of Finance and a government corporation established by an act. You'll save yourself and us too valuable time from unnecessary arguments. Thanks. 1 Like 1 Share |

it's a shame Nigerians are not informed. what most people don't know is that 1. she wasn't just an ordinary minister of finance, she was the coordinating minister of the economy, THE PRIME MINISTER. for all intent, Jonathan was just a figurehead after giving her that title. 2. During her inglorious reign as Prime Minister, first among equals, Nigeria earned the highest revenue from crude oil sales as the price shot up to an unprecendented high of $100/barrel, yet after 6rs, our federal reserves dipped so much that the Federal Govt. had to borrow money to pay salaries this year. a first in this country. where did all the money go to? 3. under her watch Nigeria experienced the worst cases of mismanagement and embezzlement of public funds at the three tiers of government, So much So that even IBB considered himself a novice when compared to GEJ and his band of kleptomaniacs. How I wish these people were hanged. |
