Run msconfig and check the startup items. We must keep reloading windows as the last resort.

Under the start up items, some were checked. I disabled all and restarted the PC, no change.
Kindly check your mail.

Thanks for replying me, really getting frustrated. I love my laptop.. The flickering doesn't stop if you tilt the screen is just flickering, tilting doesn't affect it in anyway. I haven't tried connecting it to an external monitor or TV yet
The cable connecting your screen to the motherboard is possibly lose. Look for a tech to open it up and reconnect it properly. If that didn't solve the problem try to get a new flex and make sure there is thermal pad over the GPU. After those processes and you are still having the same problem it is time to test another screen and plan to do something about the graphic chip.

My tablet PC display goes off whenever the charger is
remove or power failure but the sound remains.
I just collected it from a technician who couldn't
do anything but lost my stylus
please kindly assist with possible solution.
pls note: the screen can be rotated 360° then cover the keyboard to become tablet.... it's not the detachable type.

I get your drift. Have you tried the compatibility settings for xp and/or vista? You can also try the software on a system with xp or vista to ascertain the problem. You can also do this by running a virtual xp os on your main os. If all fails, then I think you should find another crack.
I have spoken.

wish the crack is easy to get like you said. Will try the software on anoda os like u suggested. Thank you Sir.

Looks like you're new here. I wouldn't want to broadcast my email to a newbie yet. First you need to open an account with freedom. Just go to your-freedom.net and register. Open the settings and go to proxy settings. Change the server to 78.46.255.91 and the port to 53. Change the connection type to socks 5. Change the ems01 in server settings to any value between 02 and 18. Enter your account info in the user settings. That's all.

1) What is your system specifications?

2) What is your Windows OS?

I tried shift+F8, F8 and long press on shift before restarting.

That's because a lot has changed with the boot procedure in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. The boot has become so fast that it literally cannot be interrupted by any of your keypresses.

If you're having virus, worms or any other malware problems. Try scanning your PC with RoboSAM first.

(1) F8 or Shift+F8 to work immediately after pressing the power button press and hold the key(s) to get into recovery with windows 8/8.1
(2) By tapping the F8 key you can do it
(3) Try to immediately power off the pc at the windows icon, power the pc off by any means necessary to enable windows fail to boot a couple of times. Then you should see an advanced repair option, select it and fix from that prompt
(4) Try to hold down the shift key and press restart
(5) Shift-click and push the restart button after you restart and the wallpaper goes up. Press and hold shift and left-click on restart and then go to troubleshoot

I hope one of this method works for you.
NB: Why did you downgrade to Windows 8(sorry meant upgrade), now upgrade to Windows 10 sharply !!!!!!

My engineers in the house.

My laptop came with Windows 8.1 Single language.
I want to downgrade it to Windows 7.

Now am thinking if there's a way I can backup the windows 8.1 so that I can easily go back to it when I want to.

Been thinking if System Image Backup will be the best to do, but am not sure how it works, if I can still restore it when am on Windows 7.

Please is it possible,
recommend the best way this can be achieved,

good evening

problem: “The User Profile Service failed the logon” which is due to your user profile being corrupt after a windows update or a malware..
give me a call on 08061679732...its the fastest way to reach me...
at the moment i suggest u leave the laptop and let an engineer continue from where u are(since u cant get in safe mode)...u might accidentally call up the recovery partition and u will lose all ur data...
just relax ur mind and join the sallah people for now....it would definately work

I think going back to Windows 7 is an upgrade.Upgrading to Windows 10 is a better upgrade. Just get a windows 7 disc or iso thumb pen, pop it in and upgrade!!!!
NB: You can also download it and install

Don't be frustrated bro, just try plugging in an external monitor to narrow the problem. Elimination by substitution.

Then it must be the LCD cable(as in my earlier post). It's possibly lose at the back of the screen. Look for somebody who can open it for you and insert it properly. Have they opened the system screen before?

Don't forget to place a new thermal pad on your GPU. Very important.

Yes sir, once like that I had to change the screen when it cracked from inside and ink began to flow and filled the screen, I wasn't able to see anything also it was having a flex problem when you tilt the screen.. But that's not the problem now, now it's flickering with lines due to the pressure of the step that someone stepped on from the back of the screen..

Try to connect the cable properly. The tech can do a tonguing on the edge of the connector(to wet the connector) before connecting the LCD cable to the back of the screen.
