People talk too much about foreign investors but let's understand that they are not investing in real sectors. They are traders who see opportunities in the favourable returns in the capital/money markets. They also capitalise on the fact that they are allowed 100% repatriation of their money. In fact they contribute to capital flight and money laundering. They are leaving because they don't have the freedom to do whatever they like anymore.

He contributed to the our falling Naira by recapitalizing Bdc segment.The Economy was stable before he came about recapitalizing bdc's and immediately after that exercise dollar jumped to the detriment of the Naira which made them devalue.

It will be on record that it was in Emiefele's regime that CBN devalued the Naira twice.He has not made any pissitive impact since he came in.

I have no qualification in economics so I would simply speak from experience.
Baba's anti-corruption drive is real and welcome but in sensitive situations like this witch hunting isn't always advisable.

His policies and directives have reduced laundering and embezzlement but at the great cost of layoffs running into hundreds of thousands, economic recession, withdrawal of investments, abandoned projects and unpaid salaries.

My advice is appoint finance minister, call together experts including the CBN governor and permanent secretaries and hear from their expert point of view regarding the issue and take appropriate steps to avoid the greece situation.
