Yoruba has been in opposition since 1960, this is the first time in our history that we will align with federal government. Most activist in Nigeria have been Yorubas, the likes of Gani, wole soyinka, Yorubas have been in fore front of fighting injustice- NADECO during abacha, and tunde bakare and wole soyinka during yaradua-Jonathan issue. These are not acts of cowardice to me. Some of the bravest soldiers during civil war were Yorubas.

If Ojukwu had done an " Hitler ", he would have earned my respect. A brave soldier would rather take his own life when all is lost, rather than flee to Abidjan dressed as a woman.

yoruba hadn't lost any war or territorial boundry to any tribe unlike ibo.

1) yoruba extend the kingdom to ibo land,which is benin and instal oba kingdom their.


2) yoruba also took part of ibo land in warri and instal olu of warri kingdom their.

3) oyo meisi also anex the kingdom to benin republic i.e cotonu.
