2) gerrard never switching clubs should actually be the more reason he shoulda cracked at least one league title. if i am blindfolded with 17 attempts to score from the penalty spot against de gea, i would score at least once. gerrard has no excuse, he's a failure!

3) the world cup is a 4-year competition. not too many players would win it. the shelf life of an average footballer is about 35. even if he makes the senior team by 17.....he would struggle to play in 5 different world cups.....unlike the domestic league where everyone gets another chance every year. what's gerrard's excuse?
