iboboyswag: Do you think if Oseri had opened a thread to defame Chucky he wouldn't have been busted as at pag 2? Give nairalanders some credit please. I don't know what other evidence you're looking for apart from the ones the Op has posted. All we want is for Chucky to settle Oseri, that way I will be more than glad to erase the thread for good. |

And the thread keeps growing. With no solutions. Oseri again I have a solution call or text. 08023251039 1 Like 1 Share |

ifyalways: The onus is actually on the buyer(accuser) to prove since he made the allegations and besides like I said in my earlier post, oseri's comments does not incline in a settlement he is just out to discredit the seller. I am almost sure he is cruising the said car now and that is the most possible reason why the car has not been returned and money refunded. I don't believe my money would be tied down in place of a lousy car for as long as oseri has postulated and I would not have done anything about it to recover my money instead I ask for 50k in its place? It is just unfortunate for Chucky234.... I pity the guy, oseri aimed and hit his mark. 1 Like |

GAZZUZZ:No need again. The OP has achieved his aim. He has successfully shredded seller's image to smithereens. His real names are already being bandied negatively in social media already. Don't be in the line of fire cause yhu want to mediate. |

It's still to early to decide. By 6pm I will lay out my plan, it's a very simple one and will solve all issues. Note I have never met or done business with chucky234, I have also never met or done business with Oseri, oseri is a regular contributor on cartalk and is very knowledgeable on cars. And chucky234 (until proven guilty) is a trusted car dealer. I hope you will not start throwing insults and let's be objective and constructive in our criticisms. 1 Like 1 Share |

iboboyswag:Hmmmn. You need to read this thread with an open mind. OP and dealer have talked offline and ofcourse must have said mean things to each other before this thread was created. OP requested offline that dealer compensate him with 50K so they both count their losses and move on BUT the dealer refused. Now, if the dealer cared about his reputation, he had time to make things right offline. There are ways to talk to clients no matter the level of provocation especially when it's online business cos at the end of the day, it's the dealer that stand to lose the most. The dealer refused to give OP 50K, he also didn't try to calm down the OP as his CLIENT rather he dared him to do his worst. He even came on here to type more trash instead of finding ways to settle with his client. 3 Likes |

Re: MY Terrible Experience With CHUCKY234 by ifyalways(f): 1:02pm On Oct 11, 2015 |
Raymie:Lmao. The dealer knew his name was hanging yet he was feeling like a king, yes? I know some customers can be super difficult as I'm a biz woman myself but always, the first rule of business : you are in business cos of your customer so always go out of your way to please/ satisfy them. If the dealer had made away with ego and false self pride, he might not necessarily give OP the said 50K, a few soothing but right words here and there would have done the magic and if the client is not yet satisfied, the dealer would be proud to say " yes I fvcked up but I still tried to make things right". Long story short: dealer brought this upon himself. 5 Likes 1 Share |

iboboyswag: A car with faulty abs, failed wheel cylinder on one of the wheels (so far the master still works), bad power steering pump, faulty airbag, bad 02 sensors, erratic gear shifting; can still drive from Lagos to kano and back. That a car can travel long distance doesn't mean all is well with the car. Go look at commercial buses or cars that do long distance, lots of them have features that are not working. But then to most Nigerians, once a car can move from point a to point b then it means all is well. 1 Like |

Ok no time to wait till 6pm this is my offer. I am not a Mercedes person, I'm more of a french/jap/korean vehicle lover. I have read from top to bottom, and I think it is time to put closure to this matter. I have seen the vehicle in question only in pictures (oseris and chuckys) . This is my offer. I will buy the vehicle from oseri (if he is willing to sell at the amount he agreed to collect from chucky234 as a refund) The vehicle is currently in PH, I have a friend in ph (Digital Carsolutions Ltd. 36 Eze Gbakagbaka Avenue Woji off Woji Elelenwo road by Chelsea filling station) he will take delivery of the vehicle and document the present state of the vehicle. I will pay for the repairs of the vehicle and the car will be up for sale here on NL after the repair work is done. All work on the car will be documented in pics and the repairs can be followed on a thread I will create specially for the said vehicle. If this deal will work oseri just indicate interest here and contact me off the forum. Please note I am not in support of what chucky has done by not fully disclosing problems with the vehicle. My offer closes 3pm on Monday October 12th 2015. 2 Likes 1 Share |

GAZZUZZ: While you have a seemingly awesome closure solution, I will be wary dealing with you. Sorry, I have an impression of you. You seem like a very unstable person. By unstable, I don't mean mentally. I mean your personality. I am sorry if I am wrong, that's the impression I already formed about you. I am just seeing you on this thread for the first time in my nairaland life. What helped me in forming that impression is your ability not to stand by your words. I mean, the mark of an honest man is his ability to make his word his bond. On this thread, you have "ran", unfollowed", left, watched from the sidelines etc yet you have not maintained that position. You have been actively involved and it tells me there is an underlying issue you are hiding or protecting. I may still be wrong too. Plus after screaming 6pm, you changed your mind within the hour again. guy, na wa to you sha. Next time, when you proclaim from the hilltops that you have "unfollow" or "leave" a thread, stay completely out. Don't come racing back in. You can peep in but don't be obvious. no vex sha. I am having a boring day waiting for someone so I had to just rant out my thots. 19 Likes |

Gboliwe: Cut the young man some slack. He has agreed to buy the car at the amount the op asked the seller to refund, hardly will u find any person that would do that, he deserves some credit and respect for that. If u read all my comments on this thread, I have never supported what chucky did, but this man has decided to put the case to rest. Its a win win for the op if u ask me. Chucky's name has already been tarnished here and he needs to work hard to gain the trust of his future customers. If the op is not willing to sell the car to Gazzuzz then this thread should be CLOSED. 3 Likes |

Kindly lock it if you have to, but please let it remain online (read-mode only), to serve as a deterrent to would-be scammers, of the fate that awaits them if they decide to pull a fast one on unsuspecting Nairalanders. 2 Likes |

why should the thread be closed? Please the thread stays . It would be a reminder to the OP, dealer, all NLD family of the fate of badly handled customer relations. The OP's intent from his very first post was clear : he wants the WWW to know the kind of person Chucky was. As per Gazzuzz's offer, I don't even know what to make of it. He went from spamming the thread with his " goodbye" pictures, to advocating for 3rd party inspection before payment then again to " nothing corncern me mood" and now back to " I wanna buy the said car" offer. What do I know? The OP's call I guess. Meanwhile, I no see any mention of time of payment in Gazzuzz's post. He told us everything he intends to do with this car but he forgot to add at which point the OP will be getting his cash assuming he wants the offer . Nice advert for the digital car solution guy, btw. 1 Like |

abatically: He should talk to the dealer aka seller if he wants to take the car. The buyer doesn't need to know where N590k is coming from to him. Retrieving the car after N590k payment has always been one of the options. |
